Thomas Mazloum on Walt Disney World’s big D23 announcements:

“Figment and the Yeti may not be household names to every Disney guest, but they are certainly favorites among our most loyal fans. I want them to know that we hear them… and, as a Disney fan myself, I can’t wait to see these characters back in action.”

“will receive a complete reimagining” featuring Figment and the return of Dreamfinder.

While the project is still early in the creative process, this confirms the scale of what’s ahead. This is a full transformation. 🙌

The most exciting part about this transformation is that with the exception of this fantastic-sounding premise, Tomorrowland is a blank canvas for any story, known or new, you could possibly imagine. 💫

A reimagining of Tomorrowland @Disneyland is in the works! 💫 The transformation will honor the legacy of the original land while reimagining its future with new attractions, more open spaces and new places for you to dream about the future. #D23

Just because a part of the model looks like it could be Villains does not mean it is! Don’t get married to any idea of what could be displayed until it’s either confirmed or we see it on the floor.
