Norge fik milliarder. Danmark fik en lang næse - lad os gøre det om 🇩🇰💰🫤

Da nordmændene fandt olie, puttede de pengene i sparegrisen. Vi fandt også olie i Danmark, men vi lod pengene flyde ned i statskassen.

I dag har Norge en statsfond på knap 22.000 milliarder norske kroner. Vi sidder tilbage med drømmen om den gigantiske pengekiste, vi aldrig fik.

Men nu har Danmark fået en ny chance. 🇩🇰😀

Det skriver min gode ven, borgmester Michael Vindfeldt, og jeg om i Berlingske.

Dansk økonomi er nemlig i usædvanlig god form: Fra 2021 til 2025 havde statskassen et samlet overskud på knap 500 milliarder kroner (!). Mange politikere kigger derfor allerede sultent på milliarderne og overvejer hvilke vælgergrupper, der skal forgyldes med en ekstra milliard eller tre.

Men vi bør i stedet tænke flere generationer frem og udnytte de ekstraordinært gode tider til at oprette en investeringsfond efter norsk forbillede: »Danmarks Generationsfond«. 🌱

Den skal bygge på tre regler:

1️⃣ Pengene skal investeres bredt i udenlandske aktier, ikke forbruges. Ikke i prestigeprojekter eller politiske kæpheste. Og IKKE af ATP. 🙈

2️⃣ Politikerne skal holdes på armslængde. Folketinget sætter rammerne, men fonden forvaltes professionelt og uafhængigt.

3️⃣ Et loft over udbetalingerne, så ingen politikere tømmer fonden. I Norge må fonden som udgangspunkt kun udbetale tre procent af sin værdi om året. Vi kan nøjes med to.

📈 Vi foreslår helt konkret en startkapital på mellem 100 og 150 milliarder kroner, som tages fra statens konto i Nationalbanken. Samtidig indfører vi en statslig overførsel til fonden på ti milliarder kroner om året i ti år.

Starter fonden med 150 milliarder, kan den om 20 år være vokset til omkring 500 milliarder. Til den tid sender den næsten ti milliarder kroner om året hjem til velfærden – og beløbet vokser år for år.

Norge havde olien. Vores olie hedder arbejdskraft. Men ligesom et oliefelt en dag er tømt, vender konjunkturerne også.

Vi skal tænke længere end til næste finanslov. Med Danmarks Generationsfond giver vi noget videre til vores børn. Og vi høster ikke bare gevinsten én gang og står tomhændede bagefter.

People keep saying Trump term II is the most corrupt administration ever, so I built a model to find out if it was true.

I took the UN's definition of corruption, turned it into eight criteria and 100 points, and scored the leaders history remembers for looting their countries: Marcos, Suharto, Mobutu, Abacha, Obiang, Putin.

Then I put every president since Eisenhower on the same scale, both parties, with every exoneration counted right alongside the convictions.

Nixon scored 41 and no other American President scored over a 25.

Trump's second term scored a 91, which ties him with Suharto and Mobutu and puts him above Marcos and Abacha.

So he is not only the most corrupt president in American history. At this pace he finishes his term level with the most corrupt rulers of the last hundred years.

5 reasons NOT to get an EV.

1) You’ll have to charge your car while you sleep, and it doesn’t feel fair.

Today, I am truly saddened.
Not because Donald Trump compared himself to Jesus Christ or insulted the Pope for speaking against the war. All of that was expected from this man.
I am saddened by the millions of Christians who have been blinded by this man’s moral depravity and have chosen to remain silent.
As the German pastor and anti-Nazi dissident Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said: “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
Because if you step back for a moment and look honestly, Donald Trump is not simply another flawed leader. Every leader is flawed. The issue is something deeper. It is the inversion of the values that Jesus Christ taught.
Christ preached humility. Trump elevates himself.
Christ preached truth. Trump chronically spreads lies.
Christ preached love for enemies. Trump thrives on enemies and hatred.
This is not subtle. It is not ambiguous.
And yet, millions saw this and still chose to defend it. They convinced themselves that he somehow represents “Christian values.”
But what are those Christian values?
Trump is the antithesis of Jesus’ teachings. Instead of love, he promotes hatred; instead of forgiveness, vengeance; instead of meekness, ego and self-glorification. And the list goes on.
Some argue that Trump stands for Christian values by being “pro-life,” but he is not. A truly pro-life position cannot align itself with a war criminal Vladimir Putin, who is responsible for genocide against Ukrainians. But even on the traditional abortion issue, Trump’s position is not pro-life. The only thing he said is that abortion policy should be decided by individual states rather than at the federal level. That is the extent of it. When the issue was politically advantageous, he presented himself as strongly pro-life. When it became inconvenient, his stance shifted.
The warning signs were there all along.
After becoming president, Trump began portraying himself in monarchical terms, sharing images of himself wearing a crown, surrounded by gold statues, and embracing symbols of personal glorification. Yet his followers dismissed it.
“It’s just a joke,” they said.
But words shape reality. And eventually, actions followed. A pattern emerged that increasingly ignored limits, bypassed norms, and concentrated power. And still, the defense continued.
Then came something that should have been a breaking point.
Prominent religious figures, including Paula White and Franklin Graham, began drawing comparisons between Trump and Christ. That should have triggered outrage. Because for Christians, there is no higher comparison.
And yet, there was no widespread rejection. Just silence.
And now, when imagery appears depicting Trump as Christ Himself, that silence remains.
This is no longer about politics.
It is about what happens when faith is subordinated to power.
When loyalty replaces truth.
When identity replaces conviction.
When a man begins to occupy a space that belongs to God alone.
Christianity was never meant to serve power.
Are we still following Christ?
Or have we started following something else?

How do we arm Europe quickly and build up a massive European defence Industry so we can be safe from Russia?

The answer is: We cant. Not quickly.

Sputhern Europe is still sleeping but Northern and Baltic Europe is wide awake and armring like hell. Several countries are now spending significantly more of GDP on defence than the USA. Finland is already strong and Poland is very close to being ready. The rest are on their way.

But we need more time. Five-ten years from now, we will not need to fear Russia. They will be outmatched. But right now, Russia is a real danger.

So what do we do?

There are only two options:

1) Try to keep the USA as an ally for as long as possible until we are ready. That means keep stroking Trump’s ego and humiliate ourselves Marc Rutte style. Accept extortion, insults, threats and concessions while calling Trump “Daddy” and giving him made up peace prizes.

The problem is: Even that is not going to work. Regardless of what we do, Trump and his gang will want new humiliations every week. Giving in to a ridiculously unfair trade deal did not make the USA friendlier to Europe. Doubling defence spending has not made them less hostile to Europe either. Nothing will. They hate Europe, support Russia and cant be won over. They will not be there for us, and Russia knows it.

That leaves only one option:

2) Support Ukraine like our lives depend on it because they do.

As long as Ukraine stand between Europe and Russia, we are safe. Russia can not even take Donbas from Ukraine and would be in way over their heads if they also had to fight the Nordic countries, Poland, Germany, France, Britain and Canada in Eastern Europe.

We must demand that EVERYBODY in Europe contribute. No more free-riding from Italy, Spain and France. Not a eurocent in subsidies from the EU to traitors like Hungary and Slovakia before they also join.

It is real. This is not a drill. It is time to step up.

We can easily do it and I am confident, that we will.

Glory to Ukraine and glory to Europe.
