‘Nigeria Seeks New Global Compact on Health Workforce Mobility’ https://t.co/vkGyFRTnPQ Important perspective from Minister @SalakoIziaq. This chimes closely with themes of recent APPG report: https://t.co/fOpYWFYxaY
Excellent @dailytelegraph analysis. Recent @APPGGlobHealth report however, makes a critically important additional point: if Britain gains from recruiting a country’s health workers, Britain has an obligation to help that country train the next generation https://t.co/S1ETHwHddj
"#UKaid is not simply an act of solidarity; it underpins reciprocal relationships that strengthen our own health system & build long-term economic and diplomatic ties." My letter in today's @guardian#HealthPartnerships#ExpertsInOurMidst#globalNHS https://t.co/0nSQNxLZiG
Day 2 of the #UKGlobalHealthSummit had a powerful and emotional closing.
@BeccyCooper4Lab and @monicabeharding spoke with conviction, honesty, and heart.
There were moments in the room that were hard not to feel. A recognition of what the @NHSuk owes to the world. A call to move into responsibility. And a clear, unambiguous message to international health workers: what you do matters. Not as a footnote to global health but as its future.
Thank you to both MPs. 🙏

Strong health systems depend on partnership and coordination.
The Rt Hon Sir Andrew Mitchell MP closed today's sessions talking about the APPG report and the value of partnerships in a challenging world.

Today, my heart is full as I celebrate #PsOlugaThanksgiving a journey that, by God’s grace, has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling. Every step has been a reminder of His faithfulness, His guidance, and the strength He provides.
The ground is ready—come one, come all. Okela Primary School, Siaya County.
“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1
#PsOlugaThanksgiving
Tomorrow, 8th March, we gather at Okela Primary School in Uyoma Village, Siaya County for my Thanksgiving Ceremony. It will be a special moment to come together in gratitude and celebrate what the Lord has done.
I am honored that our Chief Guest will be @WilliamsRuto
In addition, there will be free medical screening at the venue for various health conditions including cancer, blood sugar (diabetes), malaria, and other common illnesses. I encourage everyone to come early and take advantage of this important health service.
All are welcome to join us in thanksgiving, fellowship, and service to the community.
