NEET was introduced with three principal promises: (1) reduce the burden, (2) eliminate commercialisation, and (3) improve standards.

On every one of these counts, #NEET has failed. It has merely shifted the centre of learning from schools to coaching centres.

The problem with NEET has always been structural, not merely procedural. Recent events have vindicated that concern.

The ongoing student protests must serve as a wake-up call for the Union Government. It's time to trust the states. It's time to abolish NEET.

While I cannot speak for every state, I can certainly speak for Tamil Nadu. Every political party in Tamil Nadu except the BJP opposes NEET. The Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly has repeatedly passed resolutions and Bills seeking exemption from NEET.

Stop defending the indefensible. #ScrapNEET once and for all.

Who the fuck are these clowns?!? Who are these Dumbfucks to tell what others should dream to be? This kinda takes us back to the days when we lost Anitha because of #NEET. A Dalit girl who scored 1176/1200 with 98% from rural TN but the system was against people like her. NEET was introduced in 2017 that killed dreams of many and one is Anitha. She tried all she that could legally, and left us because the govt, system failed her and many others! If not for NEET, she would have been a DOCTOR today!!!! anddd
