Floridian-Cuban Born-Former Michigander-Democrat Don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth. Hold on to hope. #StandWithUkraine🇺🇦
I have had most of tonight’s @msnbc#MichiganPrimary on mute especially during the interview with Dearborn’s Mayor. But this Detroiter has a message and gets tonight’s last word. “I understand “uncommitted” but this is too important of an election to be uncommitted”.
Sen. eminent domain is nothing like Communist Cuba. And it does a disservice to yourself and the cause of a free Cuba when an elected official uses such ridiculous rhetorical hyperbole. You know we're friends and I love you, but that's ludicrous. @PortMiami and it's fuel facilities are an essential economic component of our community, I agree there may be a better way to do this, and certainly we shouldn't give these billionaire pirates a cent over what they paid, and certainly we should deny any development rights, If I were a Fisher Islander I would close all access to them. What is clear, thought, is that this is an important issue that shouldn't be defined by right or left nonsense.
When I called out Trump years ago for being a danger to democracy, a free press, and truth itself, I was accused of making myself the story and showboating. How did things turn out? Trump is all of those things. Tonight, the free press is very much in danger in America. Wake up!
Campos: While I want to thank CBS news for funding this generous gift towards my education, I want to acknowledge how the recent direction of the outlet stains the legacy of Mike Wallace, the namesake of this scholarship.
If at any time you hesitate to utter the word genocide or remain silent in the face of blatant lies, remember to ask yourself: who is this for?
Just now @SecRubio said “we cannot and will not allow any cases of Ebola to enter the United States.”
That includes even American citizens infected with the virus and in need of treatment.
This is shameless abdication of what we owe our own.
And will make it harder to end this outbreak.
The White House is intent on keeping Ebola out, at all costs.
The U.S. is planning to send Americans exposed to or infected with Ebola to Kenya, instead of bringing them home for care.
Please read and share—this is unbelievable and infuriating.

The CDC just revealed that none of the high risk contacts from the Ebola outbreak in DRC will be coming back to the U.S.
Despite the U.S. having a fully competent and specialized system built exactly for this purpose.
The 7 are being sent to Germany and…Czech Republic.
I would be incredibly disappointed and frankly quite angry as an American citizen, if that were me.
The official line is that it’s because those are shorter flights.
But one has to wonder…(from 2014)
@MiamiHerald@clurhealy@AnaChacinc The reporting at The Miami Herald is stellar. Between the Julie K. Brown outstanding Epstein investigations and Claire Healy and Claudia Chacin you are doing such an incredible job exposing these child sexual traffickers and serial rapists. Outstanding job!
