I've been a Twitter voyeur for the past few years and have decided to try and become more "active" (not the best metaphor, I know)
Below is a running commentary of how I'm going about it. Any tips/ advice are welcome!
@RasmusJarlov if you had been elected Mayor in the recent Roskilde election would you not be Chairman of Danish Defence Committee in Folketinget? Or could/ would you have done both?
@garyseconomics have you been following Michael W Green's 3 part series on fixing the US via a series of "tax wealth not work" proposals?
Would be curious to hear your thoughts - seems like crossover with your world view

@WillRead Good read! Curious what your thoughts are regarding charging for PoCs
E.g.
+ it becomes a way to get a foot-in-the-door vs "the big deal" and creates a sunk cost that (potentially) means there's a desire to convert
- even more unnecessary friction/ distraction early on
Potty Training GPT
Asking ChatGPT "What would Dr Becky suggest..." based on an uploaded @GoodInside PDF of potty training advice has been immensely helpful this weekend
@jodie_cook - are there many Coachvox parenting coaches?!
@robdix Awesome @robdix! I particularly like the "creative tension" that comes from the presenters of @RestIsPolitics + @TheRestHistory - have you + Rob consciously thought about this?
@benkeene Awesome read Ben - glad you guys had such a positive experience!
You mentioned the kids were in school in Kenya - will they go right back into where they were in the UK? Or something different?
Just found out that the guy at my co-working space who has been looking at me weird when I nod hello to him recently is actually his identical twin (who apparently also works here too)
@thesamparr@desertislandtom won the UK version of this. His write up of the experience is fascinating (especially oral hygiene 😅)

@KevinEspiritu Love the concept, though how defensible do you think it as a business?
Doesn't seem like there's much opportunity for multiple purchases even after an initial successful experience which would mean, after CAC, the (ahem) lifetime value of each customer would be fairly capped?
There's something really endearing about hiring recent graduates.
Just read one CV where a key achievement was
"Played on school's football first XI - scored on debut"
