What Nigeria's unemployment rate of 4.3% hides is that 93% of our workforce is informal.
The skills of our most educated citizens are wasting away in roles that don't use them.
But there is a silver lining for reducing this "invisible underemployment."✍️https://t.co/QnQamDNj69
AI Tutors are a passing fad. Teaching is a complex human ecosystem, not a mechanical process. Why the human teacher is the only future: https://t.co/8E5CGjJzDx
"A private tutor for every child."
The AI Tutor is a passing fad of the efficiency era (please don't cite alpha school🙏 ). The AI Teacher is the future (Actual Intelligence).

How did the six foot man drown in the river that's five feet deep on average?
you can't plan to live on average (good days), you have to plan to survive the bad days.

The Teacher Already Knows What Isn't Working. Is Anyone Listening?, by @SamailaGoje
Not a quick read, but I think it earns the time.
Read it here - and if it connects to something you are working on, reply. I read every response. https://t.co/YL5M4Z8HVa #Systemsthinking
Why does most teacher training in Nigeria end up in a desk drawer after 18 months?
We’re asking teachers to carry the weight of a broken system.👇Check out my new newsletter: Beyond Training: Reshaping the Interactions Around the Teacher https://t.co/yhIGjPickt via @LinkedIn
Skills before agents.
1/ Many Nigerian businesses are building "digital graveyards." We rush to set up complex agents on n8n before we even scrutinize or plan our business work flows. Result? Automation that breaks every time. 🧵
Kaduna business owners: Stop doing your books manually.
Last week, we saw how AI handles tax returns & cash reconciliation. This Thursday, we’re building a workflow live.
Whether you're in pastry or blocks, come learn to automate.

It’s time to stop scaling "best practices" from a pilot context and start designing for the complexity of our education system.
It starts with asking: What if the pilot was never the problem?

Look at this image.
The "Model School" is immaculate, fenced, and ordered. Now look just outside the gate—at the sprawling, complex, real-world Nigeria.
We have spent 50 years—since the UPE launch in '76—trying to "copy-paste" the ordered environment of
a pilot (the garden) onto the complex reality of our education system (the jungle). It never scales.
We keep asking how to fix the pilot.
But in this Substack post, I propose a different, deeper question.
I present a new theory of change for foundational learning in Nigeria.
Don't build an AI agent for your business until you've seen your own workflow run without you first. Test one task with Claude's #Skills. See it work. Then decide if setting up an agent is worth it. That's the order. Thursday we show what #agent actually looks like. Sign up⬇️
By design thinking, we can develop context-based teaching approaches in Maths. This creative method involves empathising with learners, applying new ideas, and using evidence to improve. Ideas from in and out of the box, from telling stories to AI usecases https://t.co/XPvVsETCQE
