Winter can be deadly in Gaza. My dear friend Samar and her sweet children need to secure a better a tent before winter comes, which is right about now. Please help them however you can. Just $800 needed. Please, it's urgent 🙏
What does a mother in Gaza do when the rain comes and the cold intensifies from all sides, and she doesn't even have a simple tent to protect her children?
We are a family of seven, most of whom are children under the age of four. We lived for three years in a cramped, old tent that was never big enough for us… and now I have a baby who is only four weeks old.
A tent that could protect us now costs $800 in Gaza.
Thanks to everyone who stood by us and helped us in this situation, we only need $710.
Just $710 separates my children from a tent that will protect them from the rain and cold.
I don't want anything more than a simple place where I can still feel I can protect my children, even if just a little.
If you can help us with any amount, even a small one, please don't hesitate. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to securing this tent before winter gets too much.
Please… help me protect my children. 🙏

Children are the most vulnerable group in these impossible circumstances, my dear. I pray that God grants this child's family patience and solace. 🤲
Dear Miral, I am embarrassed to ask for your help by writing under a tweet like this, but my five children cannot bear the cold in our worn-out tent at night, and I am trying to collect enough to build a simple tent for us all to take shelter in during these conditions.
I would be grateful if you could try to help me with this by making a donation you can allocate today, if possible.
The situation my family and I are living in in Gaza is incredibly dire, so dire that words fail me.
We are a family of seven, including a one-month-old baby and an injured husband. We live in a tattered, dilapidated tent that can barely be called a tent. Now, with the cold intensifying and winter upon us, we have nowhere else to shelter our children.
I don't even have enough money to feed them, and with each passing day, I feel more and more helpless in the face of their needs, which I cannot meet.
I am asking for your help again today to raise $600 to build a simple tent for my family before our tent collapses completely and we suddenly find ourselves in the middle of the night, exposed to the elements, without shelter.
I beg you, a million times over… please help my family with any donation you can, no matter how small, and share our campaign with anyone who can help us. 🙏🥹

I am a mother of a 4-week-old baby in Gaza, and I have four other children, all under the age of four.
At night, I hear them shivering from the cold inside our old canvas tent. I cover them with whatever I can and try to appear strong in front of them, even though inside I am just as scared as they are.
What will I do when winter intensifies and there isn't a single dry spot left in our tent to put my children?
A tent that can protect us now costs $800 in Gaza.
Thanks to everyone who has stood by us and helped us despite these circumstances, we only need $650.
I'm not dreaming of anything grand.
I just want a simple place where I can sleep knowing my children are dry and warm.
If you can help us with any amount, please don't hesitate.
Your contribution may seem small to you, but to me, it means I am one step closer to protecting my children before winter becomes too harsh. 🙏

After 4 days of trying to raise the money to build a simple tent for my family, I am still $650 short.
This is the amount standing between my five children and a new tent where we can shelter from the winter in Gaza.
I say this very honestly: I can no longer do this alone. I have tried everything I can, but I have reached a dead end.
So today, I am reaching out to anyone who can stand with us at this moment, or help us complete the remaining amount with a donation, no matter how small.
We are not trying to build a home, nor are we asking for anything big.
We simply need a basic tent… a safe place where my children can sleep without the rain and cold reaching them.
$650 is all that remains. 🙏

Dear @aghenschen, please tell us what you intend to do to help my family. Please don't make us write to you so many times every day without you trying to help us.
You have been a wonderful support and help to us for a long time, my dear, and thanks to your kindness we have overcome many impossible circumstances that we have recently experienced in Gaza.
Please reconsider your assistance and your view of my family. I was one of the first people you helped here, and I never caused you any trouble. I still have great hope that you will return to help us whenever circumstances allow. Please don't forget us, my dear.
My friend @mikerecine, please, please share my tweet. We desperately need to buy a simple tent for my children before winter gets too intense in Gaza. Time is very short, and building a modest tent takes time. So please share my tweet today. I've written to you several times recently. Please.
With winter coming in there are hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza with no heat, little shelter and not enough food. There is always enough money for war, but never enough money to take care of those affected by it.
Among my children is a baby who hasn't even turned one month old, and five younger children who don't understand why we live in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the cold or rain.
I don't know what else to do but appeal to your hearts. Please don't leave us to face the winter like this.
Please, don't make us wait until my children's beds are soaked and they spend their nights shivering from the cold before someone hears our plea.
All I want is for my children to have a roof over their heads and a place where they can feel some safety as winter approaches.
Please don't let our plea go unheard. Your contribution, no matter how small, will be part of the tent that will protect my children before we suddenly find ourselves out in the open. 🙏

Dear @Concreteisland2, I apologize if this is inconvenient, but our small tent has been severely damaged, and we are now facing a harsh winter in our current worn-out tents in Gaza. I implore you to try and help me buy a simple tent for my young children with a donation you can afford, before we suddenly find ourselves out in the open. Please.
Dear Abeer @abierkhatib, please don't make us beg you to help us with your voice here. I've written to you so many times recently, and you haven't tried to help.
You know me and have shared my family's suffering many times before. I'm begging you now not to stop helping us just because you don't want to be caught up in the chaos of fundraising. We are suffering, and our circumstances are truly impossible and too great for any supporter to overlook for their own fleeting comfort. Please reconsider your decision regarding helping us and help my family. Please.

Dear @HorrorGorl, please help me with your voice here. This tent we're living in has been through the Great October in Gaza three times, and now it doesn't even protect us from the wind after so much of it was destroyed. Please, my dear, share this tweet. I still have great hope that you can help us. Please.
