A tense incident unfolded at Mumbai’s V.P. Road Police Station when PSI Durga Kharde allegedly lost her composure during a complaint process. A woman had visited the station to file a cheating complaint, claiming officers refused to register her FIR. When a young man accompanying her began recording the interaction, PSI Kharde, visibly agitated, removed her nameplate and threw it in the complainant’s direction.

Although no injuries were reported, the confrontation escalated into a heated exchange. A video of the altercation went viral, crossing 6.5 lakh views, prompting DCP Garg to assign the inquiry to ACP Dnyaneshwar Wagh from the Girgaon Division.
