أنا سامر الزعانين، صحفي فلسطيني مستقل من غزة. أنفي بشدة الاتهامات الموجهة ضدي بنشر محتوى معادٍ للسامية أو إشادة بأحداث 7 أكتوبر 2023. المنشورات المشار إليها في تقارير مثل The Telegraph تعود إلى 2011، وكانت اقتباسات سياسية ضد الاحتلال الصهيوني، وليست موجهة ضد اليهود كديانة أو عرق. هذه المنشورات تم حذفها منذ سنوات، لكن تم تحريفها عمدًا في التغطية الإعلامية عبر اقتطاع السياق وإسقاط كلمة "الصهاينة" لتشويه صورتي المهنية. أؤكد أنني لم أنشر أي محتوى متعلق بأحداث أكتوبر 7 أو يدعم أي طرف على أي منصة. تقاريري مع BBC العربية كانت دقيقة 100%، وتعكس التزامي المهني بنقل الحقيقة من غزة رغم الخطر المحدق (مع مقتل أكثر من 223 صحفيًا). أدعو الإعلام إلى نشر ردي الكامل، والتوقف عن الحملات المغرضة التي تستهدف الصحفيين الفلسطينيين لإسكات أصواتنا. صوت غزة لن يتوقف.
I am Samer Al-Zaanin, a freelance Palestinian journalist from Gaza. I categorically deny accusations of posting antisemitic content or praising the events of October 7, 2023. The posts referenced in reports like The Telegraph date back to 2011 and were political quotes against the Zionist occupation, not directed at Jews as a religion or ethnicity. These posts were deleted years ago but have been deliberately distorted in media coverage by omitting the term "Zionists" to tarnish my professional reputation. I confirm that I have not published any content related to October 7 or supporting any party on any platform. My reports for BBC Arabic have been 100% accurate, reflecting my professional commitment to truth-telling from Gaza despite the ongoing danger (with over 223 journalists killed). I call on the media to publish my full response and cease targeted campaigns that aim to silence Palestinian journalists. Gaza’s voice will not be silenced.

انتشرت لقطات جديدة نشرها المتعاقد العسكري الأمريكي ديفيد ماكينتوش من قطاع غزة، قال إنها تُظهر إحدى نقاط توزيع المساعدات التي قُتل عندها عدد كبير من الفلسطينيين أثناء انتظارهم الحصول على الطعام.

وكتب ماكينتوش أن ما حدث هناك تتحمل مسؤوليته القوات التابعة لـ الجيش الإسرائيلي، مؤكداً أن ما رآه في تلك المواقع كان مختلفًا عمّا شاهده في مناطق قتال أخرى.
