@openshipio I assumed there will be options to use openship with my own servers , but I thought there is an option where opensship cloud it’s like managed infra like I can provision some ec2 or s3 or k8 clusters and then openship provision these on aws under OS and will pay openship 👀

I agree with @tobi; I feel like too many “techies” use VRAM numbers to oversell GPUs. Loading a model in a slow home lab says little about production serving.

Even today, running the Laravel installer and seeing this stack as an option brings me so much joy 😍

It's such an honor, and so humbling, to see tools you've worked really hard on get used by thousands (err... millions!) of people.

My advice to younger developers — if some part of your development experience doesn't feel right to you, and your gut says there must be a better way, chase that.

When Adam and I started working on Tailwind CSS, many people thought CSS architecture was a "solved problem."

Same with Inertia.js — just use a REST or GraphQL API and OAuth or a third-party auth service... and this tool and that thing...

But I knew what I wanted — a modern JS framework like React/Vue/Svelte, but within the classic Laravel monolith architecture.

Don't be afraid to push against the standard way of doing things. You might just end up creating something awesome.

الشركات اللي تبي تبني على المصرفية المفتوحة، العائق أمامها اليوم
هو مزودو الخدمة (TPPs) أنفسهم.
بدل ما يقدمون خدمة ربط سهلة وبأسعار معلنة يتطور معها القطاع،
الاتجاه صار نحو احتكار الـ connection وإطلاق تطبيقاتهم المالية الخاصة.

هذه وحدة من اكثر الامور اللي اهتمينا فيها واشتغلنا عليها سواء تيم كرانل او الearly testers لهذه الفيتشر

استغرقنا فيها وقت طويل اقدر اعترف، لادراكنا ان هالنوع من الخدمات لازم تكون بافضل صورة وافضل استقرار ممكن. والحمدلله قطعنا شوط طويل بهالموضوع ومكملين باذن الله
الهدف كان ان عندنا كثير مستخدمين طلبوها منا لان كان الفرونت اند والباك اند حقهم كله مدار من طرفنا في السعودية. لكن الauth مثلا وغيره كان في سوبابيس
اعتقد الان حلينا لهم مشكلة مهمة!
