Hexagon reveals its humanoid robot and showcases a prototype on stage.

Sweden-based Hexagon AB, a global leader in industrial software and sensor technologies, has introduced AEON - a humanoid robot designed for error-prone, repetitive tasks such as equipment inspection, material handling, and high-precision reality capture on factory floors and construction sites, where skilled labor is often scarce.

To power AEON’s autonomy, Hexagon is leveraging NVIDIA’s full-stack robotics platform - including accelerated computing, Omniverse and Jetson.

Hexagon is partnering with Schaeffler, a German industrial manufacturer, and Pilatus Aircraft, a Swiss aerospace company, to pilot AEON across use cases including manipulation, machine tending, part inspection and reality capture.
