No other human activity poses this level of danger.

A white police officer stopped a young Black man’s car on a quiet street near the university and found his driving license had expired.
“Why are you driving with an expired license?” the officer asked.
The young man answered quietly:
“They just fired me from my night job. The money I have left is only enough to eat, pay rent, and cover my bills. I’m from another state. I came here alone to study at university. And I have a job interview this morning.”
The officer could have applied the law and stopped him from driving. Instead he listened to his heart. He parked his police car, gently helped the young man straighten his tie, got into the passenger seat, and drove with him to the interview.
They walked in together. The officer apologized for the delay and explained the reason.They took a selfie together and wished him the best.
The young men got the job and later received a temporary driving permit until he could save enough to renew his license properly.
That’s humanity.

Nigerian Nurse gives details about the doctors' strike in Anambra State during Peter Obi's tenure as governor.

"Yes, doctors went on strike for 13 months under Peter Obi as governor. I was in school then as a student nurse, so I witnessed what happend"

"Back then in 2019, the Federal Govt introduced a salary structure called CONMESS (Consolidated Medical Salary Structure) and CONHESS (Consolidated Healthcare Salary Structure) through the Federal Public Service Salary Structure. The Federal Govt emphasized that the implementation by states should depend on their capacity and resources at hand."

"In Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi said he would implement 60% of the agreement, but the state doctors rejected it and insisted on 100% implementation."

"At the time, he said the healthcare and education sectors were in shambles, so he focused on improving medical facilities, dental services, mission hospitals and sshools, while equipping them to standard. During this period over 12 schools of nurses and midwifery gained accreditation"

She also said there were no reports of mass casualties during the strike, meaning the absence of the doctors was not felt because mission hospitals had taken over healthcare services across the state"

Inconclusion she said the doctors later came back to terms with Peter Obi as they saw the state was moving on effectively without them.
