@Google person of cybersecurity
he/him & they/them
@stefanmeyer Really sucks - sorry this happened :/
Hardening opportunities for everyone:
1. Enable 2FA on password manager
2. Get a hardware security key (e.g. Yubikey)
3. Enabling pin/biometrics on your code generator like Authy
4. Don't store code generator password in a password manager
@VicVijayakumar Def. That said, different tech stacks are good at different things and committing too hard can lead to a lot of tech debt.
Buuut tech debt can be a rational conscious choice to hit business or project objectives faster. Just like real debt, it's not all bad.
@haksecio Python erryday. There's almost no reason to not have proper error handling when doing anything important enough to be worth automating and Bash fails silently way too easily.
@DavidKPiano I mean, I agree but isn't the root issue of this problem that we keep adding bells and whistles at a faster pace than computing performance increases, therefore optimization becomes a key requirement for having both performance and c00l fea7ur35?
@ylecun Yes! Ways "loss" can be recouped:
1. Reusing tech for more projects
2. Leasing tech as a service to others
3. Patents and pursuing licensing fees for competitors
4. Niching down (e.g. real estate)
etc. Metaverse is only gone if Meta leadership can't do their job (but they can)
@ItakGol It's interesting but you can always use LLMs in a GAN-like architecture to generate arbitrary jailbreaks, even without access to the activations or weights. I guess the novelty here is more in regards to the efficiency when you do have access to those.
โSheโs dumb as fuck, she might be the horny one thoโ
โShould send her to jerryโ
โThe babies would be a sight to seeโ
โSheโs at least physically attractiveโ
โI wouldnโt kick her out of bed if she kept her mouth shutโ

Should I continue?
@notshenetworks Thanks for showing this so uncensored - it's amazing how many people are outing themselves as creeps in the responses. I hope it gets people to reflect on their behaviour, esp. the "it's just a joke!" crowd.
@salynch@CubicleApril It is pleasing that ex-Exer has a certain rhythmic and rhyming similarity to 'asskisser'.
That said, I don't have anything against the people that work there - I just enjoy an anti-Musk bandwagon as much as the next hipster.
@paradoxengine Yep. Still the most reliable and easily deployed. I'll go Burp for HTTP login forms, and if it's a very specialist protocol you may have to scour GitHub...
