Why does @MTNGhana's app prevent MoMo transactions over Wi-Fi?! Do they realise subscribers with broadband (but no mobile data atm), those traveling abroad or in the diaspora get stuck? Is the idea that MoMo transactions can't be secured over Wi-Fi? Odd! Am I missing something?

To say that Ghana’s political elite are either grossly incompetent, unconscionably predatory or both is being charitable. Asking unemployed youth to pay GHS220 to apply for jobs in the security services is criminally scandalous. It’s disturbing that this is routine in #GhanaAt69

A reported 100,000 have passed the initial screening stages and are now expected to undergo medicals at a cost of GHS 1,600 each, to be borne by the candidates. How more ridiculous can things get? Ghana is asking its citizens to pay to get hired in its security services.

In March 2021, I paid 390 pence per share in the @Deliveroo IPO. 4.5 years later, shareholders receive 180 pence per share in a sale to @DoorDash. Need further proof why equity investments come with the warning “you may lose all your money?” 😅
