Just returned from Kapchorwa where I had gone to supervise works at Teryet National High Altitude training ground.
Works are now at 98% and we expect full completion by end of this month. The facility is expected to be commissioned by the President in April.
Countrymen and women,
You may be aware that our South Sudanese neighbours have taken the drastic step of closing schools due to the alarming rise in temperatures, reaching as high as 45 degrees Celsius! This is a wake-up call for us, as leaders, to join forces in the fight against global warming. Each tree planted can make a significant difference in combating climate change. As Parliament, we are committed to spearheading a tree-planting initiative, and we implore everyone to join us in this crucial endeavour.
I want to express my deepest thanks to all the Ministers and fellow Members of Parliament who endured the heat and long distance to witness the opening of our Teaching Hospital and Bukedea College of Health Sciences by H.E. the President. I am truly grateful, and your presence meant the world to me and my people.
To those who couldn't make it, I know your thoughts were with us. Thank you all, and may God bless you abundantly.
Yesterday I joined my amazing friends, the Little Hands Go Green Ambassadors from Bukedea Township Primary School to plant trees at Bukedea Teaching Hospital. I applaud them for spearheading the campaign to restore our environment through tree planting.@LilHandsGoGreen@JosephMasembe1.
I want to thank our dear Leader and father H. E. Gen.@KagutaMuseveni for Sparing time to come and launch Bukedea Teaching Hospital and Bukedea College of Health Sciences.
We are grateful to him for his fatherly Love, words of wisdom and passion for a better Country.
I officially opened Bukedea Teaching Hospital and Bukedea College of Health Sciences, both established by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Anita Annet Among.
I want to congratulate her for this initiative and commend her for being an active and good planner. Like I have always said, politicians should ensure they protect themselves from debt and pressures from bribes by ensuring proper planning while offering services that are a primary role of government.
@awesome_ama Thank you dear, I need some guidance on how to maneuver with IELTS, TOELF and application fee because most of the universities ask for them
