Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has warned women in leadership positions to be cautious about allowing their younger romantic partners, commonly referred to as "Ben 10s", to influence their personal lives and leadership decisions.
Speaking during the official handover of a newly built house to the family of conjoined twins in Lulekani on Wednesday, Ramathuba said the downfall of many women in leadership positions is often linked to the influence of their "Ben 10" partners.
She urged women leaders to remain focused on their responsibilities and not allow personal relationships to interfere with their decision-making or public duties.

Namibia's SME Bank Liquidation Recognised by Zimbabwe Court.
Zimbabwe's High Court has recognised the liquidation of Namibia's failed Namibia's SME Bank, clearing the way for Namibian liquidators to recover assets held in Zimbabwe. The ruling by Justice Siyabona Musithu strengthens cross-border efforts to trace assets linked to the bank's collapse.
Background:
SME Bank was placed into liquidation in 2017 after major financial irregularities. The bank's former deputy board chair, Enock Kamushinda, along with Zimbabwe's MetBank and World Eagle Investments, has been at the centre of years of legal battles arising from the bank's collapse.
Namibian courts previously held Kamushinda, MetBank and World Eagle liable for hundreds of millions in claims brought by the liquidators, although Kamushinda has consistently denied wrongdoing.
