Looks like ICE basically just hired every fat stupid sociopathic Oath Keeper type white supremacist Twitter troll in the country, gave them guns, and told them to go out and kill anyone who disobeys them for any reason
Clark Lea on Vanderbilt Football's resurgence on the eve of the ReliaQuest Bowl:
"This is a human story. It's a story about a group of people that came together, that were willing to see what was possible and willing to bleed into it and work hard for it... There is still room for a team that puts a fence around the building, ignores the external perception, focuses on the internal investment, and cares about one another. Over time that can give way to results."
Vandy invested in athletics for the first time like 2 years ago. In the second year, we have a Heisman finalist, won 10 games and obliterated our in state rival, should be in the playoffs, and just got the #1 ranked QB recruit in the country.
Reminder that if you see someone on the timeline or comments calling for civil war, there’s a 90% chance they’re either:
> A Bot
> A Foreign Adversary
> Both
act accordingly.
millions of ppl on the streets of US protesting trump, meanwhile no one is attending his birthday party. this is proof that the repulsive far right hugbox that twitter & online spaces have become is not representative of real world support for maga and right wing policies!
The fundamental and underlying problem with MAGA is that it is an incredible campaign ideology, but a terrible governing strategy.
“Tariff everybody.”
- Amazing on the campaign trail.
- No way to implement it without causing the Great Depression.
“Deport all illegal immigrants.”
- Amazing on the campaign trail.
- You won’t have any workers left.
“Cut the budget deficit to $0.”
- Amazing on the campaign trail.
- You’ll need to cut entitlements.
“End the Russia Ukraine war in 24 hours.”
- Amazing on the campaign trail.
- Why would either side listen to you?
“Mexico will pay for the wall.”
- Amazing on the campaign trail
- Why would Mexico pay for your fucking wall?
this will scare so many people:
1. you can be an illegal immigrant and still be a great human.
2. we can handle the immigrant situation without mass deportations.
3. leftist looters, rioters, building-burners are pieces of shit and deserve punishment.
4. you can be a hardcore trump supporter and still feel bad for pablo the 60-year-old postmates driver that sends $120 a week back to guatamala so his elderly mom can eat.
nuance doesn’t have to die. to believe one thing doesn’t mean you have to believe all things. stop being fucking hamsters.
I’m deeply against the ICE raids happening across the country. No one deserves to be harassed or dehumanized—regardless of their background, status, or job.
I try to stay out of politics with my public views. I don’t identify as right or left. But I do feel obligated to speak up for those who don’t have the platform. Silence, in moments like these, feels like betrayal.
Seeing Los Angeles get torn apart like this… it’s devastating. Families broken, children physically separated from their parents, neighbors turning on each other, and entire blocks damaged in the name of “justice”—it feels like we’re losing ourselves.
This country was built on the backs of immigrants. I stand with those who’ve been the backbone of this nation for generations—working, sacrificing, and holding up entire communities with little recognition.
I’m sickened by how extreme both sides have become—how quickly we dehumanize anyone who disagrees with us, how everything turns into a battle instead of a conversation. It’s exhausting, and it’s tearing us apart.
Politics has blinded our ability to feel and reason. We’ve let anger replace empathy and division replace dialogue.
This isn’t who we are. This isn’t the way.
I’m at a loss for words. Nothing I can say can mend the heartbreak of seeing a family member ripped from their very community or seeing the life you helped build destroyed in protest.
Please stay safe. Be aware. And show compassion to one another.
