What I wouldn’t give to see more honest Christians on here! So many are so “perfect” and that’s a real tragedy.

The pretending causes them to miss the fellowship they so desperately need. It’s a shame to see people run from intended blessing.

We are created for community. We need not take actions that discourage that.

The Bible says that nations will turn against Israel in the end times. It doesn’t say that will be entirely without good reason. This is something to keep in mind if you struggle to justify actions Israel takes. You shouldn’t justify sin, ever. Wrong doesn’t become right because Bibi did it. Sin doesn’t become not sin because “chosen people.” That’s willful ignorance. Evil is and will always be evil.

There aren’t exceptions. What God calls sin always is. There will never be contradictions to the Word of God, and to make exceptions for wrong would make God a liar. Blind allegiance to a secular government is wild to me, and I see a lot of Christians fully back Israel’s disgustingly immoral and perverted government, thinking the Bible tells them to.

It doesn’t. At the same time, God’s promise to the Jews didn’t go away, as so many seem to think. The people screaming “The Jews killed Jesus!” are often hateful and deceived. We all killed Jesus, every one of us. But you don’t have to do much Bible reading to see countless examples of the Jewish people disobeying God to the point of Him punishing them. Still happening today. Believe it or not, they’re still the “stiff-necked people” God said they are.

Critical thinking is severely lacking for many Christians where Israel is involved. People seemingly shut it off entirely, if they ever had it. And the reason that feels weird to do is because it’s wrong to do.

I pray for Jews to accept Jesus as their messiah. That’s it. I owe them nothing else. Jews that don’t accept Christ go to the same place gentiles that don’t accept him go. Hell. I will do right with anyone, and wrong with no one. I will never support sin. I will never turn a blind eye. If you can’t justify an action when it’s your worst enemy doing it, don’t justify it when Israel does it.

@NostalgiaPro Good, but you’re forgetting the mafia tactics Sony used. Sony told retailers that they wouldn’t give them PS2 units if they sold Dreamcast. Retailers knew the PS2 was going to be big. This played a big part in Sega’s “losing.”

Sometimes lately I’ll reply to a post and then realize it doesn’t reflect living as freely as Jesus has made me, so I’ll delete it. It’s the “correct” response, but only correct insofar as somewhat jaded, perhaps worldly “wisdom.”

This is in fact a warning to me that my focus isn’t on Jesus as much as it should be, but rather the world. I’ll heed this now - and take advantage of mercies new every morning tomorrow. Which, by the way, is a part of that freedom!

Who am I with God? Complete and beaming and full of life and love and joy. Full and content beyond measure. Giving and loyal and ridiculously alive.

@BTC_for_Freedom I’m so blessed. I honestly do my best to not take it for granted. I work full time, but 3 and 4 day weekends, alternating. 84 hours every 2 weeks. On 3 day weekends I feel like they’re too short.
