@EES_Eval conference gave me an insight into the M&E field. I would like to thank the organizers Lauren, @alena_lappo & May for having organized such a wonderful event and all the speakers for their enlightening presentations. I enjoyed being a volunteer here. #eval4action#YEEs
I quit my job the boring way. No blowup. No viral
moment. Just months of quiet proof that
I didn't need it anymore:
Most people picture quitting as this dramatic moment where you storm out or take a deep breath and leap.
That is how it looks in the movies.
In real life, the best exits are boring.
They are quiet evenings after work where you spend one hour building something that belongs to you while your paycheck still covers the rent.
I spent months doing exactly that.
One hour after work, phone off, no distractions.
I broke everything into 20-minute chunks so it never felt overwhelming even after a long day.
I tracked three milestones: first $500, then $1K, then $3K outside my job.
And every week I asked one question: am I closer to leaving than I was seven days ago?
The answer was yes every single time because even small progress adds up when you actually show up for it.
By the time I told my manager, there was no anxiety in my voice.
No second-guessing.
No "what if this does not work?"
Because it was already working.
The fear of quitting disappears the moment you have evidence that you do not need to stay.
And building that evidence is a lot simpler than your brain is telling you it is.
One skill you already have after 5pm.
One small offer.
One customer who proves it works.
My infographic is the exact system I used to leave without ever losing sleep.
Save it.
If you are ready to start building your quiet exit, I put together a free toolkit to help you take what you already know and turn it into something you own.

The people who quit with confidence did not have more courage than you.
They just started building proof on a random Tuesday night and never stopped.
