@Nigel_Farage It reinforces what has always been evident, your sense of perpetual victimhood. Everything is all about you. You seem to be totally lacking in empathy and basic humanity, and to be intent on creating maximum societal division. A somewhat sad use of a life.
I like your ire Ted in support of @Keir_Starmer it is now in the lap of the Gods. I only hope @Keir_Starmer stays the course in the battle to see off the challengers. I think he should as he’s got a very great record to defend and he is a very great and very dedicated Prime Minister. I think one of the best we’ve had in my lifetime and I would like to hear more significant figures in politics standing up to defend his great record.
@TheGreenParty Your anti-establishment, anti-government, anti-Starmer narrative that your leader has been building ever since he was elected leader is arguably fuelling hate and division.
Zack Polanski has spent months telling voters Labour is useless, everything’s broken, and the system doesn’t work.
At this point he’s not opposing Reform — he’s rehearsing their lines.
Lab MPs backing Tories are beyond contempt. Multiple investigations already underway. Facts still being established. Yet some can’t wait, because this is about damaging their own leader, not due process. It just helps the opposition create a political spectacle.
@sales_belinda Lab MPs backing Tories are showing opportunism. Multiple investigations are already underway. Facts still being established. Yet some can’t wait, because this is about damaging their own leader, not due process. It just helps the opposition create a political spectacle.
This may well be the most effective dismantling of a journalist by a politician that I have seen in recent times. I say that with full consideration of the context. On LBC, Lewis Goodall appears to steer the discussion towards a predetermined conclusion, presenting assertions that do not align with the available facts and constructing a narrative that does not withstand scrutiny.
In doing so, he goes as far as to suggest, almost to press for, the establishment of a Privileges Committee to investigate Keir Starmer. Yet the substance of that demand does not appear to be grounded in evidence, but rather in the continuation of a narrative that he himself is attempting to shape.
There is a consistent pattern in his approach. Wherever he appears, there is a tendency to impose a storyline that extends beyond what the facts can reasonably support. If one were to look for an example of the more troubling aspects of modern political journalism, this would be difficult to overlook.
What's emerging is that the vetting process for Mandelson was much more nuanced than the original story as presented by @guardian would have us believe. The implication is that this controversy has been blown up out of all proportion.
@LaindonFEMINIST@JenniferJS_@susan_suwong30@Keir_Starmer He was calm, composed & has more integrity in his little finger than most of the HOC. As a former LD supporter & voter, I was absolutely disgusted with Ed Davey; no wonder the Lib Dems continue to poll in the low teens with him in charge.
@hol40900 All these so called patriots wanting companies to drill the North Sea.
Tories & Reform receive vast donations from the fossil fuel industry.
Coincidence?
They really don't care about cheap bills just bigger profits for their donors.
@TiceRichard@Nigel_Farage@KemiBadenoch
So far this week there has been extreme outrage because Kier Starmer, the UK Prime Minister:
1) Went on a 3 day minibreak to Spain and stayed in a £200 a night 4 star hotel
2) Spent £1500 on a sofa, and £1400 on a bed at his Downing Street residence (all Prime Ministers have, and have always used, a £30,000 annual allowance for this same residence).
Does anyone else see how pathetic and desperate this all is? In a world where so many world leaders are openly corrupt to the tune of multi-billion dollars, that these people are digging so hard and so deep to fabricate a scandal where none exists?
Outrage bait BS, and we all know it.
