Fascist attacks on museums are not just about history, they're an assault on truth itself.
That’s why Trump is working overtime to turn our museums into instruments of MAGA propaganda.
He’s pressuring the Smithsonian to remove, whitewash, & rewrite our stories. But we won’t allow it.
PabloReports: What do you make of Pete Hegseth refusing to promote qualified women of color?
AOC: He’s an unqualified man in his role, so of course he’s threatened by women who are twice as good as he is.
Zohran Mamdani: “A lot of what we’ve come to accept as the facts of life across our country is driven by democratic socialist principles. If today you and I were to introduce the idea of a building that lends out books for free, we would be slandered in the same way that so many new ideas are slandered today and yet that’s the library. And the same thing with the fire department and the same thing with public schools”
Abdul El-Sayed: “ICE has nothing to do with immigration. ICE is about normalizing paramilitary force on our streets. ICE is about weaponizing the idea of immigration against the Constitution itself. ICE cannot be reformed. ICE cannot be retrained. ICE has to be abolished”
Fewer men are teaching, coaching, and volunteering than a generation ago, so more boys are growing up without different kinds of male role models. I introduced two bills to help fix that — recruiting more men into classrooms and other kinds of service to strengthen communities.
Medical racism is not abstract. It shapes whose symptoms are believed, whose pain is treated, who receives timely care, and ultimately, who gets to live a healthy life.
Thank you, @RollingOut , for this important conversation.

Nico Williams's mother, Maria, walked nearly 2,000 miles while pregnant from Ghana towards Spain for a better life.
He grew up to assist the goal that won Spain the World Cup. Then, he gave his winner's medal to his mom.
Kelly: The military does not need more testosterone. It needs better leadership. And that starts with the secretary of defense. It also starts with the commander in chief.
He's the one that hired Pete hegseth, who is the most unqualified individual we've ever had in this position by far. They're firing the wrong people. Pete Hegseth is firing people because they're women and they're black. The President should fire Pete hegseth.
We can’t survive without bees.
We can’t survive without forests.
We can’t survive without healthy oceans.
We can’t survive without clean rivers.
We can’t survive without fertile soil.
And somehow…
we still act as if humans exist separately from nature.
Spanish pro footballer Borja Iglesias delivered a powerful message about homophobia in football, saying the real issue isn't being targeted with anti-gay slurs; it's that LGBTQ+ players still don't feel safe enough to be themselves.
Reflecting on the abuse he's received after painting his nails in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion during a 10 March interview with AS, Iglesias said the insults no longer carry the weight they once did.
"The first few times it affected me; I took it personally," Iglesias said. "After reflecting on it, I see things differently. Calling me a f*ggot, I don't consider that an insult. When a guy says that, I think I'd be happier being gay than being like him, with nothing better to do than insult people at the end of a match."
He added that what truly concerns him is the impact this hostility has on others: "What bothers me is that a gay person is afraid to come out because of these kinds of reactions. Not being able to be yourself and love who you want is unacceptable, which is why the fight against homophobia is essential and why I'm involved in it."
The Spanish international, who is part of Spain's 2026 World Cup squad, also reflected on football's deeply ingrained macho culture, saying it remains "sad" that openly gay male footballers are still virtually nonexistent at the highest level of the men's game.

Modern healthcare was built on the exploitation of Black bodies, from nonconsensual experiments on enslaved women to the theft of Henrietta Lacks’ cells.
Now, Republicans call efforts to level the playing field “DEI” instead of addressing the inequities they helped create.
