@AustineDecker You should check out @Cloudways. It looks intimidating but it's super-easy. I would suggest keeping your email separate from your hosting as well. Use Google Workspace for email so if your hosting server is down, you still have email.

Problem 2 - she set this up before we started working together and her email is attached. I always tell my clients to not use their hosting provider for email for this very reason. At least she'd be able to communicate with her clients.

A client's website has been down for 3 hours so far because of "planned" server maintenance. Problem is, this wasn't communicated before so I just spent too much time earlier looking for a cause. Even a few minutes is too much time when something is supposed to be planned.
