School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada is at the forefront of innovation and collaboration in sustainable planning, architecture, and design excellence!

1️⃣ European Union-funded Projects:
Under the EU Erasmus+ Program, SPA Vijayawada led a project on urban heat and spatial dynamics planning for climate resilience, transforming findings into UG and PG courses. The courses focused on livability, governance, and infrastructure.

2️⃣ Transforming Rural Development:
The Gram Panchayat Spatial Development Plan 2041, funded by @PanchayatiRajGOI, emphasized economic upliftment and ecological rejuvenation for Gram Panchayats in Andhra Pradesh through strategic spatial development.

3️⃣ Reviving Traditional Art:
Through the Kalamkari Block Printing Innovation Project, funded by @EduMinOfIndia, SPA Vijayawada redesigned traditional Kalamkari blocks to be lightweight and ergonomic, enhancing artisan livelihoods and preserving heritage crafts.

4️⃣ Sustainable Development Planning:
GIS-based Master Plans for Eluru and Bhimavaram focused on sustainable spatial development, agro-sector growth, and resource optimization integrated with transportation planning.
