But as far as Rahul Gandhi is concerned, he seems to have reached a different state of mind. Due to continuous electoral defeats, he appears frustrated. He opposed SIR, he used to oppose EVMs, and he opposed Digital India. He does not seem to stand with India’s scientific progress. As far as this issue is concerned, I myself take responsibility on behalf of the government for any inconvenience, and I request everyone that this is not the time for politics. I have said this earlier as well. Politics can be done later. Right now, the most important thing is that the mental stress of these students and examinees should not increase further. We appeal to everyone that no one’s words or behavior should add to their stress."

Rules are made by the government taking under suitable considerations and they keep changing based on the requirements. Thus it depends on the true intentions of the government what they want to prioritise. I hope nothing goes wrong in this state.

The Cabinet, in its meeting on 24th September, approved engagement of TEMPORARY faculty in Assam’s Polytechnics and Engineering Colleges under Rule 3(f) of the APSC (Limitation of Functions) Regulation, 1951 replacing earlier engagements of Part Time/Guest faculties. An Office Memorandum from the Personnel Department, dated 16th March 2015, provides guidelines for such TEMPORARY engagements under Rule 3(f). These temporary appointments cannot be regularized except through the regular recruitment process of the APSC or other competent authority. I am sharing the OM for clarity on this issue. @himantabiswa @CSAssam_

@himantabiswa If you really have a vision of brain gain and you really want to give equal treatment to non Assamese people then why PRC is compulsory for all recruitment of Assam government, including recruitment in higher education sector as well ???
