@City_SantaMaria Also, what’s the point of residents calling illegal fireworks if the EOC / DOC isn’t activated. Also, pair up a FF with a Police Officer and patrol the neighborhoods. Any citations written will cover the overtime costs for having the extra PD/ FD personnel on duty.

@City_SantaMaria It’s about time they took a stand. Here are some suggestions: Activate CERT to either patrol neighborhoods or put them in the EOC taking reports of illegal fireworks.
Activate ARES to man the radio rooms so residents can call 8n reports eithe on Ham radio or GMRS radios.
