Recently saw a fulminant hyperinflammatory case that initially pointed in one direction, but the diagnosis turned out to be something entirely unexpected.

Endemic fungi can be great mimickers. More on this case coming soon.

@VincentRK What you describe in the U.S. sadly mirrors what we live in Colombia, but with fewer resources. In a middle-income country, delays in scans, approvals, and chemo slots are often longer, and many patients never access treatment at all.
