@DefenceGeek@BettyBoochichi2 They may have got the charge just before the STL, the IOPC summary reads that they sent it in December and then got charges soon after
@steve6690@Me_just_older @ryanhall587 @BettyBoochichi2 "Hi sarge, I've nicked this guy but I'm due off in 10, can anyone take over? No? Oh..."
Or
"Officer, this event that happens on the same date every year has suddenly come up. Your rest day has been cancelled, you must do it or organise your own cover."
@capedjoosader@BettyBoochichi2 You know exactly what happened prior to the video rolling? the exact specifics of this incident? Why this person was being required to leave?
@Most_Peaceful @InspGadgetBlogs @allenradar From what I heard from the initial conversation there is a S35 dispersal in place and the chap didn't leave as instructed
@mhmd_sys@9mmsmg Oh yes, and shoot her in her femoral artery if you even hit your target (which is moving) so she can bleed out to death in a few seconds rather than a centre mass shot that would definitely hit, probably stop, and have more chance at survival. You sir, know nothing.
@__theskipper__ It's funny that this lot clamoured for officers retiring to have no effect on misconduct processes, but when it involves their misconduct its "well of course they can retire"
@ExInspectorBDS@__theskipper__ I didn't see any interference here, but code B, paragraph 6.11 PACE states that a friend, neighbour or other person requested by the occupier can observe the search. It seems that the people filming are occupiers anyway.
@lec_829@GarrettPetersen@Oilfield_Rando Think about the information he had at the time. It's moving fast, it is easy to not see the knife, it looks like a brawl. You can see why he made the assumption. You need to step back and look at what happened without applying what we know now, instead of "PoLiCeMaN wOkE"
@lec_829@GarrettPetersen@Oilfield_Rando They didn't know it was an ongoing knife attack, had just started and they happened to be there. Made a fast time assessment of the situation, and got it very wrong. Knife attacks are so very rare, yet punch ups are very common. You can see why he would make that assumption.
@swickes86@cockles1980@NormanBrennan It's likely they didn't realise it was an ongoing knife attack, it literally just started, they rock up and see what looks like people punching eachother. These types of attack are very rare.
@swickes86@cockles1980@NormanBrennan Stabbing looks a lot like punching. Cops turning up clearly didn't know it was a knife attack, if they turned up at every fight thinking it was a knife attack you'd have a lot more police shootings. A lot of the time cops don't always have all the information to hand.
@PhillipCDUK@Bootiesurfer@alfiemoore Shoplifting is an offence - theft. Fare evasion is an offence on busses in London and on trains throughout the country. If you take what you say and work it through, police shouldnt deal with any victim based offence because its the victims responsibility to prevent that offence?
