@dikko_radda Congratulations to H.E. Governor Dikko Radda @dikko_radda and the great people of Katsina State on this landmark achievement! π It was an honour for the Sapphital team to be part of this transformative initiative. A heartfelt thank you to @huawei
This is the future of education
In another strategic effort to expand access to digital literacy in Katsina State, I had the pleasure of receiving a mobile digital classroom donated by Huawei at the Government House, Katsina, yesterday.
This important intervention will go a long way in bridging the digital divide in our state, especially in rural communities where access to ICT facilities remains limited. The fully equipped mobile classroom, with laptops, interactive digital boards, reliable internet connectivity, and a power system, will significantly enhance digital learning across our schools.
Our goal is to equip our young people with the knowledge and digital skills needed to thrive in todayβs technology-driven world. This initiative will also support students preparing for computer-based examinations and expand access to quality education, particularly for our girls.
Katsina is proud to be among the first states in Nigeria to benefit from this initiative, and we remain committed to leveraging partnerships that drive innovation and inclusive development.
I sincerely appreciate Huawei for this thoughtful contribution to the future of our children and the advancement of education in our state.
@Sapphital is a leading Nigerian digital learning company with deep, proven expertise in building and deploying e-learning solutions for government and private institutions, and we are glad to have them as partners on this.
The @cltcnigeria Online School will allow Nigerians to access our civic education and leadership development programmes from anywhere in the world, removing the geographical and logistical barriers that have historically limited our reach. We thank the Sapphital team for their partnership and shared commitment to this vision.
The honour is entirely ours.
We are fully committed to this vision and to delivering a platform worthy of CLTC's mandate. Here's to building something truly impactful together. π€π³π¬
At @cltcnigeria, we recorded a key milestone yesterday.
While I served as SSA to the President on Citizenship and Leadership, one of the priorities I identified as essential to repositioning CLTC was leveraging digital technology to make the Centreβs programmes more accessible. The Centreβs mandate β civic education and youth leadership development β is a national one, and a functional online platform, complementing our physical training schools, is key to fully delivering on it.
That conviction deepened after I transitioned to the role of DG. Financial constraints meant we could not invest directly in an online platform, so we pursued a different path: yesterday, we formalised a Memorandum of Understanding with @sapphital for the creation and operation of the CLTC Online School, structured as a Public-Private Partnership (PPP); thus achieving a strategic objective without placing an additional burden on the Centreβs resources.
