@AlanLevinovitz I’ve heard our political spectrum described as U-shaped, rather than linear, so people on the extreme left and right end up having shared values - anti-vax, anti-mask, distrusting of authority figures, govt, big business. “Anti-establishment” makes sense as a way to define.

@BeerAndPie I think that’s fair, especially considering how hard it’s been for families to make that call. When I read through all his posts, I interpreted his criticism as being levied more at sensationalist news scaring already-doing-their-part people more than was probably necessary.
