What if instead of looking for diet and exercise “hacks”, we actually focused on the diet and exercise basics that we know to work be consistent with them?
Examine your diet! Is there something calorie dense while not being nutrient dense? Such as a muffin or other processed foods. Cutting these out of daily routine can cut significant amount of calories and lead to weight loss!
Weight loss tip for low carb diets;
Just because you are limiting carbohydrates doesn't mean you have a free pass to to scoff as much dietary fat as you want.
Calories still matter and butter isn't a magical food you should eat in unlimited quantities.
5 FOODS YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT:
1. Foods you don’t like.
2. Foods you have *legitimate* physical issues with (allergy, intolerance, etc.).
3. Foods you have ethical issues with.
4. Foods that make your diet unsustainable.
5. Foods you can’t eat without overeating.
A great substitute for rice is cauliflower rice! I like to mix half rice and half cauliflower and then you don’t cut the rice out completely but you’re getting a veggie that’ll fill your belly at a lower calorie intake. #happyeating
I’ve had many patients who lost 20% or more of their body weight by just “eating less.”
I don’t think it’s great advice but apparently it can be done.
They say instead of 4 slices of pizza they would eat 2. Instead of 5 sodas a day they would have 1. So on and so forth.
Next time you eat out try drinking a glass of water first so that way you are less likely to overeat your meal! Take home the leftovers and enjoy them the next day.
