Such a good talk for educators and parents. Technology is equally necessary and dangerous, and this gives some practical tips as we navigate this journey to help kids develop #digitalhealth. #SMU637

We are looking for ideas for a virtual field trip next week with our 1st graders. Look's like this is a good starting place if you want to check out some cool places to take you students with #remotelearning. #SMU637
@HassDayna Wow! Such a fun idea to get kids engaged. Would you do it, even with a smaller group? My class is a little too young, although I'm sure they would enjoy it!
@misschesness That's a good idea! I am so curious what parents would write, and it could be really good to hear. Are you guys able to collect data for each academic area for grades? We are still doing grades and pass/fail for Reading & Math, but our only data is parent signatures.
I posted someone else's link to their version of a virtual classroom earlier, but here is a great tutorial as well! Hoping to try something like this with my #distancelearning crew! #SMU637

I am excited to learn a little more about #coding in this #SMU637 class. This is a cool way to integrate scientific thinking even without consistent access to technology. #onlinelearning#quaranteaching
One of the struggles I've been hearing is how do we teach comp sci, coding and robotics when students don't have consistent access to a computer. So, Here's 25 Coding, Robotic and Computer Science Activities that don't require one! #distancelearning#quaranteaching
@HassDayna Thanks for sharing! This is a cool visual with concrete examples. I need to learn more about some of these apps to find ways to integrate them!
@JenDerheim Yes! There are SO many authentic learning experiences that can happen now! One of my students was making a birdhouse and helping with the measuring, cutting, etc. Cooking has been a new adventure at our house, along with the weather forecast! Thanks for sharing!

Here is a link to access a range of @Seesaw activities I have created, collected or made. Hope it helps. I had to change the link, sorry, long story.
