@NDLiteracy A5 Sarah Hochhalter: other teachers! When I hear other teachers doing something fun in their classrooms or reading a book they are excited about I just have to try it/read it! We have the greatest staff in MPS and I learn so much from all of them!
@NDLiteracy Sarah Hochhalter A4: I use flexible seating in my classroom, my students can write anywhere they are comfortable. I have also introduced lots of crazy pens, markers, notebooks and colorful papers to my writing center this year and my kiddos are loving it!
@NDLiteracy Sarah Hochhalter A2: my PLC made a team drive that we can share. It has been great and will be even better next year when we are looking for something! I also love reading teacher blogs/searching Instagram!
@LeAnnAl65068253@NDLiteracy My 2nd favorite teacher was a college professor. She made you feel like the most important student she’d ever had! She passed away a few years ago from cancer and I hope she’s looking down on me and is impressed with my classroom skills!
@NDLiteracy Sarah Hochhalter Q1: 2nd grade Mrs. Korsmo, she made learning so much fun! We were always writing books, doing plays, going on field trips (even to her own house)! She’s the reason I wanted to@be a 2nd grade teacher!
@NDLiteracy A6. I’m reading The Book Whisper. It’s been on my list for years! My favorite PD book was The Wild Card, excited to start a book study with this book soon! I love reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to my class, most have watched the movie, but the book is new. #ncrcchat
