Literally the entire trans community have told you the Cass Report is a stitch up and we don’t want it @wesstreeting - but you stubbornly ignore. We have zero agency over our own healthcare. Disgraceful. In fact we were specifically BANNED from advising on Cass - along with actual Gender Specislists. Instead, the Kemi-commissioned report was written by US Religious Right conversion therapists. You know all this. You know it’s a fraud. That’s the worst bit. You know it does not stack up (PBs banned for trans kids, but not c i s kids). You have now condemned some young people to taking their own lives with this decision. By forcing them to go through puberties they explicitly do not want, in the hope they stop being trans. Horrific. As bad as anything Alan Turing endured. I totally don't agree with Wes Streeting on this.
Puberty blockers are given to children who aren't trans, and considered safe.
The UK will be one of the few places in Europe that doesn't allow them for trans children.
