BREAKING: $ANF is up 35% today, on track for its biggest single day gain in its 30 year history as a public company.
Q2 earnings came in at $4.17 per share, more than double the $1.97 analysts expected.
A $100 million tariff refund added $1.75 per share to that number. But even without it, the company earned $2.42 per share, still well above estimates.
Full year EPS guidance was raised from $10.20 to $13.35, a 27% jump in a single quarter.
Share buybacks were increased from $450 million to at least $500 million.
Revenue hit a record $1.27 billion in Q2, up 5% from a year ago and the 15th consecutive quarter of growth.
The stock was down 26% year to date before today.
This single earnings report wiped all of that out and pushed it to its highest level in 19 months.
BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 The US says Chinese hackers broke into the Federal Reserve, NASA, the DOJ and the Senate.
The hackers were working for a Chinese company called Nanjing Xinjiuwei, whose clients included China's intelligence agency and its military.
They used two tools called QScan and QTRouter.
QScan infected thousands of everyday devices like routers and cameras worldwide.
Those infected devices were then used to hide where the attacks were coming from, making it look like the hacking was coming from local computers rather than China.
The operation has been running since at least 2018. The Justice Department seized the domains that made both tools work, shutting them down.
This is the fourth time in three years the US has disrupted a major Chinese hacking operation.
In 2025 the FBI removed Chinese malware from over 4,000 US computers.
In 2024 it dismantled a botnet of hundreds of thousands of infected devices.
In 2023 it disrupted a network used to attack US critical infrastructure.
It's officially Nvidia earnings day.
Nvidia, $NVDA, is expected to post a record $92.3 BILLION in quarterly revenue today.
This would mark +1,278% revenue growth over the last 4 years.
Furthermore, this would mark nearly +$90 BILLION in revenue growth compared to Q2 2020.
We are witnessing the biggest technological revolution in modern history.
$NVDA AI dominance is creating a massive opportunity well beyond Nvidia itself as billions flow through foundry, HBM, testing, packaging and server assembly
Here’s who has the most exposure to Nvidia today:
• $TSM 37%
• $SKHY 27%
• $MU 14%
• $TER 8%
• $ASX 3%
• $FN 1%
• $AMKR 1%
• $CSCO 1%
I also think the wild part is that Nvidia now spends more on HBM than on the wafers themselves and roughly a quarter of its revenue equivalent on test equipment which says a lot about how important memory, yield and validation have become at these die sizes.
BITCOIN COULD HIT $300,000 BY 2029
Bernstein predicts Bitcoin could recover to a new record of $150,000 by mid-2027 before reaching $300,000 by 2029.
The firm expects rising government debt and currency debasement to boost demand for scarce assets like Bitcoin.
Bernstein also highlights growing institutional adoption and strong long-term holders as key support for its bullish outlook.
🚨 JAPAN'S BOND CRISIS IS NOW ATTRACTING THE VERY MONEY THAT COULD MAKE IT WORSE.
The 10 year Japanese bond yield recently hit 2.92%, its highest since 1996. For decades it sat near zero and nobody wanted it.
Now foreign investors are piling in.
Japanese bond ETFs have taken in a record $1.5 billion in 2026 alone, nearly three times all of last year.
But this is not a simple win for Japan.
Higher yields mean Japan's government pays more to borrow.
With debt at 204% of GDP and 25% of the budget already going to debt servicing, every basis point higher makes the fiscal position worse.
The same rising yields that are attracting foreign money are slowly crushing the government that has to fund them.
And when a carry trade gets this crowded, history says the exit is never orderly.
