Dear Respected Inspector Generals posted in different parts of UP,

The action taken by the police officer in Muzzafarnagar is not only anti constitution but also severely damages the image of the police force. This is an appeal to you to stand by the pledge which every police officer , every army officer takes to safeguard the constitution .

Senior police officers have their own organisations of IPS officers and this must be taken up at all levels .

Police and Army do not serve the governments , they serve the nation.

This action is a big blow to our constitutional norms .

@sagarikaghose ‘s powerful maiden speech covered a wide range of issues .

BJP heckled her twice but unperturbed she continued to speak , which a lot of others need to learn to do too.

She needed 2 more minutes to conclude which were not given. Very undemocratic on behalf of the chair as a few more minutes could have been given for her maiden speech.

All the five siblings inherited multi-tasking from our parents , we grew up in a gender just atmosphere at home with strong ideological grounding, believing in an equal and just society . We were taught compassion and love and no pettiness.

Safdar was killed when he was only 34 yrs . Wonder if there was ever a discussion on the responsibilities of the hosts and their total lack of understanding about the situation on the ground .
