😢 I’m a bit embarrassed to admit this… but I need to talk about it.
I lost money in the Beyond / BLIFE ecosystem and I’m no longer sure if I can trust the team anymore.
I actually waited until now to post this — I didn’t want to say anything earlier that could hurt the Beyond mint that just ended. At the end of the day, I’m a real supporter and a passionate Bitcoin & Ordinals maxi.
Here’s what happened:
Beyond was acquired by BLIFE Protocol (formerly known as OPAL).
The same team behind the game Life Beyond (from Darewise Entertainment, backed by Animoca Brands @animocabrands) was running everything. The token started as $OPAL / $BLIF, then became $BLIFE.
Many players and farmers like me invested time and money farming that token…
Personally, I put in:
• Around $300 into the B.O.T.S mini-game (upgrading robot NFTs to Legendary level) on Life Beyond
• A Founder Watch NFT to boost Opal/Blife rewards
• Several Blifstone Ordinals NFTs
Not to mention countless hours farming on Galxe, playing Life Beyond, and using the BLIFE portal.
I know I’m not alone — some people lost a lot more.
Today I’m left with one simple question:
Can I still trust Beyond / BLIFE / Portal?
Benjamin Charbit (@Ben_Charbit) and the team behind @BLIFEProtocol, @LifeBeyond and @beyond__tech are still active after the merger with Portal.
After all these rebrands and the fusion, have the early supporters really been rewarded?
