Do you remember when I told you firms that short go extinct? The guy from "The Big Short" is closing his firm. If only he listened to me. And yes it's real.
It's crazy how little engagement I used to get. Which also means some large portion of you still need the education, cuz you probably missed it. Long completely annihilates short, in general. This is why lots of firms that only long exist, but near none survived trying short.
.@PeterSchiff and I had a Bitcoin debate. I got him to admit: "Gold is not a long term investment. I never recommend gold to anybody as an investment. It is a store of value.. Gold doesn't grow, it just holds its value...It doesn't accrue value, it doesn't gain value." Yes, he actually said that.
BTC is up 3x and gold is up 2x since that debate. HEX is way down. Tag @cz_binance so he can study Peter's tactics.
I'm including that clip & the full video here, minus the intro. Just a reminder that Gold went down in price 70% for 20 years after 1980. 20 years.
Those of you performing "outrage marketing." I'll tell you what no one else will, because they don't even know it. Not every like is worth the same. Not every follower is worth the same. Not all engagement is worth having.
You only get once chance to make a first impression. Do you want more followers or do you want more influence? Because they're not the same thing.
I tried the outrage marketing, I did it well, organically viral vids, starring in a documentary, you name it, It was ok, maybe better than nothing, but had I to do again, I would have just focused on bread and butter normal ass marketing. I used to do normal ass marketing for a living, and it worked great :)
2002 man. I been in the game FOREVER.
Here is some motivation to never eat McDonalds again...
Scientific studies link ingredients like trans fats, AGEs, and high sugar loads to increased risk of heart disease, cancer, and metabolic dysfunction.
1) The burgers and fries are loaded with trans fats, aldehydes, and advanced glycation products (AGEs), which are associated with increasing the risk of heart disease and cancer while accelerating aging throughout your body.
2) TBHQ, a preservative used in their frying oils, has been described in laboratory and animal studies as a DNA-damaging compound that can suppress immune cell activity. While these findings have not been replicated in humans, they raise legitimate questions about long-term exposure. Some studies have shown that TBHQ can inhibit the activation of natural killer cells in mice, suggesting possible impacts on immune function. Ref Ref
3) A French study tracking 1,925 people over 15 years found that ingesting more than 0.1 mg/day of aluminum in drinking water correlated with higher rates of cognitive decline and dementia. Analyses of certain fast-food items, including McNuggets and hotcakes, have found aluminum levels substantially above the level mentioned in the study.
4) The frappes or the hotcakes alone would exceed the entire daily maximum allowance of added sugar, set at 25 g/day.
If you're young and think, "Oh, whatever, I won't have to deal with the consequences for decades,", here's how your body immediately reacts to ingesting a typical McDonald’s meal with fries and a milkshake or a sugary drink:
a) Your pancreas must pump out about 1.5x more insulin than usual just to maintain your blood sugar levels Ref
b) Arterial blood flow is impeded by up to 50% blood cannot flow through your arteries as effectively, your blood pressure increases, and your brain and organs suffer immediately.
c) A study showed this following a standard high-fat meal with 14g saturated fat. Ref For reference, a quarter pounder with medium fries or a big mac with large fries each pack 14 grams of saturated fat (Based on US nutritional facts); Almost 10% increased in a key arterial inflammation markers 2-hours post consuming a Big Mac meal. Ref
d) Glucose levels increase by +45mg/dL at 30 minutes (following a McDonald’s Big Breakfast with hotcakes and a biscuit) , then dip to baseline at 1 & 2 hours. This means a sugar high is followed by a sugar crash, renewed hunger Ref

A new longevity stem cell therapy in monkeys showed an estimated 3–5 yrs of biological age reversal, across 54% of tissues. Scaled cautiously to humans, could correspond to ~9–15 years of rejuvenation.
If this replicates, it's a big deal. 🧵
holy shit
researchers in china just made old monkeys young again.
they injected stem cells engineered with a single genetic edit and they
restored memory, reversed brain shrinkage and bone loss, rejuvenated half of all tissues, and wiped out senescent cells
a systemic rollback of aging.
you have no idea how good things are going to get
Wow...turns out seed oils are required for UV light to cause skin cancer in animals.
Mice fed 20% saturated fat had basically zero skin cancer....
But when fed 5 to 20% polyunsaturated fat, they developed lots of tumors.
Stop blaming the sun for what seed oils did

Use code: EDUCATION
This is uncut video footage with just her neck being blurred. I don't recommend watching as it's quite difficult, but it needs to be seen. NONE OF THESE PEOPLE HELPED HER. She was allowed to just roll off her seat.
Pin your dependencies or let your users pull down exploits anytime anything you haven't pinned is exploited upstream. Your choice.... Seems simple no? And just hosting your own dependencies beats leaching others bandwidth and hoping they don't go down as well don't it? Please be smart...
Alright, I'll use more words for y'all. When you develop something, you publish code people can choose to run. But must of that code is code you didn't write. So you can either, have people load the "CODE YOU DIDN'T WRITE" which is called a "dependency" or you can pin it and only load the code that you already inspected and think is good.
