Really enjoyed my first tournament with @teamncsmith! The girls meshed well, and had eachothers backs. Identified things I need to work on since coming back from this injury, and plan to improve! Batted .600 on Saturday, and.375 on the weekend with 4 RBI’s. Glad to be back!

Undefeated at the Shock & Awe Showcase 💥🥎

Team NC Smith 16U came into Virginia Beach locked in and left making a statement — 6-0 on the weekend at the Tier One Fastpitch Shock & Awe Showcase!

From the first pitch to the last out, this squad showed grit, power, and heart. Saturday set the tone with four straight wins, highlighted by big bats against Legacy Elite White (12-4) and a nail-biter finish over Unity Townsend (8-7). On Sunday, the team tightened up even more, delivering back-to-back shutouts against Victory Gold (8-0) and Shamrocks Whited (6-0) to close it out.

The lineup was relentless at the plate, pitchers pounded the zone, and the defense came up clutch in every situation. The result? Six wins, zero losses, and a team that looks hungrier than ever.
