This is my cactus. It needs good soil and needs to be watered every so often. In the land unit we learn that plants need fertilizer and water and other things to give it the nutrients it needs to thrive. #apesland @franklinlorax

This is my aloe vera plant. We make sure not to water the plant too much and that the soil we use is not regular gardening soil, but a soil that has perlite in it! #apesland @franklinlorax

A lot of the plants that are in my house need different things to grow. For example, one of these plants grows best with clay pebbles that improve permeability. Others use potting soil with humus to give the plants nutrients! @franklinlorax #apesland

This is a Christmas Cactus! The makeup of our soils can make or break products it helps create. The ideal pH of the soil for this plant should be 5.5 to 6.2. Also, as you can see, there is much humus in the soil which helps create a nutrient filled soil. #apesland @franklinlorax

My mom drives a Honda CRV which is a pretty fuel efficient car, averaging about 28 miles per gallon. With the population growing everyday, limiting our gasoline consumption would is great for lowering our ecological footprint and keep resources available @franklinlorax #apespop

These grapes are organic which means that there was no use of pesticides or GMO when growing it. Organic produce are usually smaller, healthier, and more expensive because it was grown naturally. @franklinlorax #apespopulation
