A #GBV assessment exercise is ongoing in #Garowe through focus group discussions involving 1️⃣5️⃣ adolescent girls & 1️⃣5️⃣ adolescent boys. We involve communities to develop strategies for the provision of #GBV services & to build on existing community-based protection mechanisms

The West has been pushing for a conflict instead of reconciliation. So, @UKinSomalia & the rest of the #IC housed in Halane are part & parcel of the problem.

We pray Somalis will recognize that all they have is each other & peace is a must. Somalis Vote & not fight.

Somalis in the diaspora & those in Somalia who sent their children to the West always appear to support conflict so their clan may win, but ultimately it is the people in Somalia who will suffer. Somalis must find peace through reconciliation. #IC does not care, so we must.
