@Kaleb_Atlanta Broke: “there are two categories for all sins.”
Woke: “all sin is equal”
Bespoke: “all sin is falling short of the Glory of God. Nevertheless, there is a gradient where some are worse than others”
@ErickYbarra3 In your mind, “not accepting Erick Ybarra’s read of J1672” == “rejection of J1672.”
Can you find one Orthodox clergy who explicitly counsels the latter?
Not “I know my interpretation is right so it logically follows.” Not “we don’t see it as authoritative.” Conscious rejection.
@EasternMilk You judge without understanding.
First, RC priest are not priests. But also you’re assuming she is saying “this is a sin for everyone,” when really she could’ve meant “this is a sin for me (against my conscience).”
Do you know which? No. Yet you judge harshly.
Lord have mercy.
@ChadTheBad Not enough specificity.
1. Which sedevacantist group?
2. Are sedeprivationists in as long as they agree on the popes which were deprived of the powers of the office?
3. Is there a specific “last pope” (or last pope with powers if #2 above is affirmative) who must be agreed upon?
@IndianaBrunner You really took the most negative possible read here.
How about this: he’s telling kids to stop trying to debate their parents and instead become better Christians.
You got a problem with that?
@OrdinariateUSA “2 degrees of schism from Catholicism”
Where does RCC say the EP is right in the EP/MP controversy?
Oh it doesn’t and you’re just a hater looking for any “digs” you can scrape together?
Seethe harder.
@YoungPenitent I love St. Seraphim, but he’s clearly out of his depth with this one. Oversimplified and boring. He’s reaching too much to try to make things fit.
@RorikWanka That’s pretty insane. Seen similar situations handled the other way round - “just don’t receive communion till convalidation.” Same principle but without the evil and retarded instruction for married people to stop doing the marital thing.
