@efctruth20802 Tough one u dint think the keeper gets to it anyway and there were zero complaints but u dont see how thats pertinent. What I think on individual decisions doesn't change the premise of my argument
@efctruth20802 Disagree. We csnt affect the rules that are in place and once they are and in for a set period of the time the least you expect is for them to be applied equally without fear or favour, imo.
@efctruth20802 Presume you mean a general "you". Agreed the decision should be correct in the first place but if we pull at this thread then we end up arguing about what rules and punishments should be in place. Regardless of wether we agree on those it should always be applied consistently
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer I think my frustration is it felt rushed late on rather than setting our stall out early doors. However if we do reinvest it to find another 16m player or 2 you can flip for the same profit id be very pleased
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer Granted on age but ndiaye should now be reaching his prime which itself carries a premium. Personally I think the prices for the spurs pair are daylight robbery. Id just have preferred to see everton have manufactured a better deal given they held all the cards
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer I dont think I ever said it was a bargain. Yarmouth and savinho wanted out also and commanded larger fees unless I'm mistaken. Anyway I enjoy the discussion thanks.
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer I somewhat disagree. 3 years on his deal, age, undoubted quality and the way the market has been I think we could've reasonably got a fair bit more.
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer That may be so but doesn't really address the wider point. Tags interest seems to lie in balance sheets, understandably so but in the case of Armstrong and ndiaye at a detrimental I'd say. So you're of the opinion 60m was good value for ndiaye?
@efctruth20802@realkevindyer Bigger picture - appears TFG are far making decisions primarily on finances. Ndiaye at 60m looks good when you consider what everton signed him for but most see that as under value.
