Many thanks @soylaflora for collecting the last edition available on primary, so happy to see this piece in your beautiful collection! 🙏🌟
@philiprosedale So we verified that a person “owned” the CD and let an artist reach back to their fan and say, “Thank You for buying my CD, here’s a bonus track…” etc. Fan didn’t own the underlying rights to the disc. But they owned the license to play it…
@philiprosedale When we did #CDKey back in #1995 we created a cryptographic hash of a CD in a ROM drive, turned that into a key to unlock bonus content, early entry for ticket sales, chats & immersive worlds. I called it “Life after Shipping” for discs you bought decades beforehand
@philiprosedale Yes I own NFT‘s, and AI generated art… Much easier to say NFT than “cryptographic rights management hierarchy on a tokenize value exchange”
@philiprosedale Actually it’s ownership itself that is under debate
and I am reminded of a quote from my dear friend @NakedJen, “the less I own, the less owns me”!
@philiprosedale Yes, everything has changed and the laws will have to bend to accommodate. Indeed, it may take time but by the middle of the century everything will be so different
@arieljalali Sure… Sceneplay 2006
1.Sceneplayers, playing multiple roles, making microcash
2. Sceneplayers cocreate all aspects of production, with cryptographic rights management hierarchy
3. Sceneplay rewards all members, each setting thier own price, and terms for participation
