In today’s rapidly evolving digital economy, society is no longer merely a passive consumer of technology but an active participant in the growing digital asset ecosystem. Concepts such as cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, digital tokens, tokenized assets, NFTs, digital identities, Web3 wallets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) are becoming increasingly relevant as part of modern economic life. Within this transformation, a new concept is emerging: Asset Digital Consumerism, a framework that emphasizes informed participation, responsible usage, consumer protection, and meaningful value creation within the digital asset economy.
Many people still interpret digital assets narrowly, often associating them only with cryptocurrency trading or speculative investments. In reality, the definition of digital assets is much broader. Digital assets encompass any form of value, ownership, rights, identity, records, or instruments that exist in digital form and can be owned, transferred, verified, or utilized within digital ecosystems. This includes cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, stablecoins for digital payments, tokenized assets such as sukuk, real estate, commodities, and even verifiable digital certificates.
In the Malaysian context, digital assets hold significant potential in shaping the nation’s digital future. The integration of trusted digital identity systems such as MyDigitalID, the development of the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), exploration of local stablecoin ecosystems, tokenization of Islamic financial instruments, and secure digital record systems all demonstrate that digital assets are not merely a passing technological trend, they represent a foundational layer of future digital economic infrastructure.
Asset Digital Consumerism promotes the idea that digital asset users must become informed, responsible, and security-conscious digital consumers. This begins with understanding how the technology works, improving digital and financial literacy, safeguarding personal assets, and making decisions based on knowledge rather than hype or social pressure. Users should also recognize that digital assets are not solely investment vehicles, but practical tools for real-world applications such as cross-border payments, digital identity management, education credentials, innovative financing, social impact initiatives, and community empowerment.
In conclusion, Asset Digital Consumerism is not simply about owning digital assets, it is about understanding, using, protecting, and leveraging digital assets responsibly to build a safer, more inclusive, and sustainable digital economy for Malaysia and beyond.

But there’s something else.

This is exactly why I stopped treating X like a broadcast channel and started using it as a public build log. The doors don't open for followers. They open for proof of work.
Hierarchy is what you build when you've stopped trusting the network. Most scaling pain is communication tax disguised as 'process'. Founder mode = refusing to pay it.
Executive Brief of our latest episode:
‘Nothing Ever Happens’ Is Over
1. As companies grow, the communication overhead gets very high, so the traditional answer is hierarchy. This creates politics, permissioning, and a world where the CEO needs ‘founder mode’ just to talk to an engineer.
2. The alternative is a fully interconnected graph: everyone can talk to anyone, with a light hub-and-spoke around one person trying to keep the whole product in his head.
3. This only works if every node is highly intelligent. You need people who can navigate their way to the person they need to talk to, cooperate directly, and survive without management theater.
4. In that kind of company, AI starts replacing the explicit intranet. It can go through the codebase and tell you who in the organization is likely to be an expert, so you don’t need everything manually documented.
5. You don’t need fixed dashboards when AI can create them on the fly. AI can constantly be doing data analysis and reporting for you—reports on demand.
6. There are two, maybe four, companies that are dominating AI. The question is whether AI becomes a commodity business, a monopoly business, or an oligopoly business.
7. The famous meme “Nothing Ever Happens” is over. Post-COVID, the world is changing a lot faster.
8. Drone warfare changes the structure of violence in society. Drones bring mutually assured destruction down to the individual level.
9. Hardware is getting unlocked through software. AI means hardware companies can make good enough software, because agents can interact with the hardware directly.
10. Optimism requires creativity. Doom is easier to imagine, so we have to nurture optimism and be irrationally optimistic, because that’s the only way out.
Founders are voting with their feet — capital with its registered address. The gap between where talent lives and where rules are written is closing fastest along the Singapore–Tokyo corridor.
The thesis is unchanged: the next platform layer wraps everything else. What's changed is who's allowed to fund it. $2.2B says the institutional-skeptic wave broke.
