In this book, inspired by real events, journey with Special Agent Hunter McCallum in South Africa as he navigates treacherous terrain, espionage and retribution
This book, while a work of fiction, draws heavily from some of the real events I documented in my previous book, Fragile.
The book also aims to highlight the dedication and hard work of US Special Agents, not from the CIA, FBI, or even the Secret Service, but from the Diplomatic Security Service of the U.S. State Department.
DSS agents operate in nearly every country, tackling complex challenges, especially in places like South Africa. The book doesn’t follow a single, continuous storyline but instead presents various different experiences of the main character, reflecting the unpredictable and multifaceted nature of real-life situations. This structure allows for a more accurate and realistic portrayal of the crucial work DSS agents do around the world.
Although some experiences of the main character are imagined, many are inspired by the true accounts of several special agents who shared their stories with me. Additionally, I have incorporated elements from my own experiences during my time at the U.S. Embassy in Pretoria.
I invite readers to engage with the story by discerning what is fact and what is fiction. As you do so, my only advice is to approach it with a spirit of bold curiosity and adventurous thinking.
The target audience for the Hunter McCallum novel would likely include:
• Fans of Espionage and Spy Thrillers
• Political Thriller Enthusiasts
• Military Fiction Readers
• Readers of Action-Packed Fiction
• Professionals and Enthusiasts in International Relations
Overall, the book would appeal to readers who enjoy a blend of suspense, action, and political intrigue grounded in real-world scenarios.

@News24 The most "positive" outcome will be if @realDonaldTrump finishes the excellent job he has started by finishing off Iran once and for all. Sorry @CyrilRamaphosa - I know this will be traumatic for you.
@IraninSA
Seeing the carnage Mass Murderering Psychopath, Vladimir Putin, has once again inflicted on the civilians of Kiev, isn't it time that Ukraine inflicts exactly the same damage?
Isn't it time that the head of the snake, Putin is cut off literally, ending it all?
@KremlinRussia
@Derek_Hanekom Yeah he probably has ChatGPT to thank for it. The only thing Squirrel will always be good at is being the whore of terrorist regimes like Iran and Russia
@WHLeavitt@koosdebeer4 Thanks for supporting our persecuted people, Karoline! I hope to also call America my home soon. Your Boss is the greatest world leader ever. We are forever in his debt.
@IraninSA You are speaking like someone who has all the leverage. You don’t. Your military has been decimated and your navy and Air Force wiped out. Your Navy and Air Force is now the size of South Africa’s 🙈
@IraninSA I really think you knuckleheads are now totally losing the plot. There is a place in Pretoria called WESKOPPIES. I strongly recommend your Embassy starts operating from a room inside that facility sooner rather than later
@IraninSA@SAFTU_media Thank the terrorist South African GOVERNMENT. Not the country. All citizens that are opposed to terrorism do not support you bastards. We support President Trump and the US! He shouldn't stop until you are all eradicated 👊💥🇺🇸
