I am deeply disturbed by the video released by Memphis Police today. We all witnessed a horrific yet perversely familiar act committed by officers of the law. Everyone involved must be arrested & charged with the murder of Tyre Nichols. His family and our nation deserve justice.
Thrilled to make two big announcements: 1) I'm at WWF now! 2) We're hiring! I'm looking for a talented postdoc passionate about understanding the values of nature & how to apply them to improve environmental problem solving. https://t.co/PLjocjiGza

A bombshell was dropped on #CovidVaccines for kids as per NACI🇨🇦
💥6 mo - 5 y NO booster dose
(the 🇺🇸 has been administering them since Dec 2022)
💥5-11 y only ONE booster dose after the primary series
Why are kids being shut out of protection from severe illness & death?!
What do we call a Vaccine-Only strategy with no access to #CovidVaccines /boosters for select age group?
The words "abandonment", "discrimination," "inequity" all come to mind. Please justify or do better NACI🇨🇦

@sstroschein2@hazardscampaign@LongCovidKids WHO have just issued new guidelines on masks, recommending that all children over 5 yrs should wear masks in indoor settings where ventilation is poor or unknown.
And even if ventilation *is* adequate, masks are still recommended if physical distancing >1m cannot be maintained.
@nathaliejacoby1 PRIVILEGE of being able to work from home, order groceries for outside pick up, ability to afford a respirator mask and HEPA filters for when I have to go to the office, a car instead of public transport, credit card to order needs, & up to date on vaccines for baby & I

Unfortunately, one of the first things you learn when doing animal behavior research is that the animals don't care what your hypothesis is. #mentorship

This is amazing, France is going to require clean air in classrooms, aiming at CO2 levels of 800 ppm. Other countries should quickly follow suit. Aside from limiting Covid, just the benefits of lowering common respiratory viruses makes this worth it alone, as any parent knows.
It's not "living in fear" to take sensible precautions to avoid a virus that doubles your risk of a heart attack, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease, and dementia, each time you catch it.
@MamaWeasleyy I am panicking about sending my one year old back to daycare after knowing so many people gathered frequently and in large groups over the holidays...I hate it here 😭
