Epitome of volunteering, congrats to Happy Innocent Ezem of @schoolnownow on your election as the 50th President of JCI Ibadan.
I have learnt a lot from how you make things happen, your passion and dedication to community development.
Let’s make this one count as always. ✌️
Proud to share a milestone in my leadership journey. 🇳🇬
From joining JCI Ibadan in 2019, I have had the privilege of serving as Chairman, Director, 1st Vice President, General Legal Counsel, Treasurer, and now Executive Vice President.
I’m also a 2026 Leadership Academy (LAXIII
Golf is bringing the crowd together, but autism awareness is at the heart of today’s Play With Stephen experience. This is what I love #AutismAwareness
The biggest thing about awareness is that it gives people the opportunity to unlearn things too. And honestly, we all have something we can unlearn. #playwithstephen
Autism does not mean someone cannot have friendships, relationships, careers,
ambitions or a full life. We need to stop allowing stereotypes to tell the whole story. #austism#education
The brands supporting Play With Stephen are helping create more than a tournament experience. They are helping put more attention behind #swingforautism.
Just wanted to finally share some GOOD NEWS I've been sitting on 😊
It is truly a full-circle moment for me.
I still remember clearly, as though it were yesterday, my mother walking me to Graceland High School, Wofun, Ibadan, for my JSS1 entrance examination. I was just 9 years old then, a young boy stepping into a new chapter, unaware of how profoundly that institution would shape my life and future.
27 years later, I have been invited to serve on the Board of Governors of the same school. As an alumnus, this is deeply humbling, profoundly meaningful, and a moment of immense pride for both me and my family. It is an honour I do not take lightly, and one for which I am sincerely grateful.
I see this not merely as an appointment, but as a call to service, an opportunity to give back to an institution that gave so much to me.
It is also a moment to honour the vision and sacrifices of the founders of Graceland High School (now Graceland Heights): Late Chief E. L. Osunkunle, Late Chief Banji Osunkunle, and Chief Mrs. Foluke Osunkunle, whose commitment to raising generations of young people has left an enduring legacy in all of us privileged to have passed through the school.
I would also like to acknowledge Pastor Kola Arowobusoye, now the Principal of Graceland Heights. Fondly known as Pastor Kay, he taught us Integrated Science and Chemistry with remarkable dedication. It is inspiring to see someone who once invested so much in us now leading the school.
Their labour was not in vain. We are, in many ways, products of the values, discipline, and excellence they intentionally built into the fabric of Graceland.
As I take on this responsibility, I pray that God grants us the wisdom, grace, and strength to preserve and advance their legacy, and to ensure that Graceland continues to raise exceptional young people for generations to come.
His Grace will always be sufficient. 🥰
Amen. 🙏
Even worse, PTA and principals are respossible for hiring+paying security guards in public schools. I know cuz I attend PTA meetings of kids(illiterate/poor parents, orphans) in my community.
Government can't hire security guards for all schools in OYO state.

One day, a child will say,
“The first time I believed I was brilliant was because I stood on the IPSMC stage.”
That day will make every sacrifice worthwhile. #Ibadan#Ipsmc#sdg4#education
The more I visit public schools, the more convinced I become that talent is evenly distributed, but opportunity is not.
That’s one of the reasons I wake up every day thinking about the Ibadan Public School Mathematics Championship. And yes it will be a blessing to many #IPSMC
If one public school student discovers their confidence because of this championship, every meeting, every proposal, every late night and every “no” we receive will be worth it.
Some missions are bigger than convenience. #Ibadan#IPSMC
Education at the Heart of Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda as FG Unveils Five Flagship Programmes to Accelerate Human Capital Development
The Federal Government has reaffirmed that education remains the cornerstone of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda with the launch of five flagship World Bank-backed programmes designed to accelerate human capital development, reduce poverty, strengthen healthcare, improve governance and expand economic opportunities across Nigeria.
At the launch in Abuja, the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, CON, described education as Nigeria's greatest investment and highlighted the HOPE-EDU Programme, a transformative investment of approximately $552.18 million, jointly funded by the World Bank and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).
The programme will directly benefit nearly 30 million children, support the professional development of 500,000 public primary school teachers, improve teaching and learning in more than 65,000 public primary schools across all 36 states and the FCT, and strengthen foundational literacy, numeracy and education management systems through a results-based financing model.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to providing strong policy leadership, effective coordination and sustained oversight to ensure the successful implementation of the programme as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

A mathematics teacher who has spent 20 years in a public school without seeing one of his students celebrated might finally witness that moment in 2026.
Something big is loading

There are projects you organise because they’re good ideas. And there are projects you lead because you genuinely believe they can change lives.
The Ibadan Public School Mathematics Championship is the latter for me.
I believe public school students deserve a stage
