Greg Abbott has been in Texas government since 1995. Attorney General. Governor. Thirty years of power. And the two things that define daily life for average Texans — property taxes and the power grid — are worse today than when he started. 💀
Quick question: should a Trump donor get his own private road through Yosemite? If you said no, it takes one minute to tell Congress: https://t.co/ImilpYplDa
Angie Nixon fired back:
“The most ordinary man imaginable came to my home state to tell me to ‘get out of America’ while they enjoyed the comfort of buildings my ancestors built.
Imagine standing on the shoulders of the ppl who built this country & then telling their descendants they don’t belong here.
So I went down the rabbit hole of trying to determine what are the economics for someone, who is currently healthy , to go to a HDHP with a 10k plus deductible.
The question I asked is “I dont trust insurance companies. What happens if I have a million dollar emergency and they won’t pay “. All I can say is WTF
If they don’t pay, there are Independent Review Organizations, who are supposed to be independent, and their decision to pay or not is final. I asked for examples of companies. One was ExamWorks. That rang a bell.
These motherfuckers are the same company that issued a ridiculous denial for a patient I was trying to help. So I knew the Too Big To Care, vertically integrated insurance companies hired them to do DENIALS !!! WTF.
The biggest customers of the companies that are the final decision makers for insurance carrier denials, are the biggest insurance companies.
That is beyond fucked up. It’s the definition of conflict of interest. How do state insurance commissioners allow this ?
The high deductible plans that many people say is the solution to fixing how we do insurance, may be effectively compromised
If you are looking at a HDHP, BE CAREFUL
It might just be rigged against you
I read this .." If you dropped off your son at school in the morning and pick up a daughter in the afternoon ..YOU HAVE PICKED UP somebody else's child "
Tim Dillon: “Here’s what scares me about them: Zuck, Dario, fucking Elon, the whole crew, they’re not people. They’re not human beings. When you watch Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, Thiel, they’re not people. They’re another thing. Whereas the big bankers were bad people because they were greedy and heartless, they were people and had identifiably human traits although ones people would call concerning to say the least. These guys, when you see these people talk, they are not people, they don’t love human beings”
Nenko Gantchev died in GEO Group's Michigan detention center. GEO's PAC sent Mike Rogers a check for his Senate run. Ten weeks apart, in that order. Rogers kept it. https://t.co/AbGZTPXBmy
‼️ GOP are panicking about… KANSAS
- Senate Leadership Fund is moving MILLIONS out of North Carolina and into Kansas to fend off @RevAdamHamilton.
- GOP are burning cash defending deep red strongholds while Dems are expanding the Map.
The panic is real.
On September 14, an Iranian cruise missile struck a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz carrying a Marine landing team. Eight Marines, seven enlisted and one officer, were wounded, suffering smoke inhalation and possible traumatic brain injuries.
You’re only hearing about it now because the Pentagon never announced the attack. It quietly folded the eight Marines into its casualty database two weeks later, and the story only came to light because reporters caught the numbers and began investigating.

Ken Paxton, you left 730 days blank and took 275 luxury trips to wineries and ski resorts with $1.9M taxpayer security bill...
And you spent $25K for one Masters golf weekend while calling yourself Texas fighter, so this is not MAGA but taxpayer-funded vacation,
retweet 🙏
A new VA report has a shocking revelation: more than half of all VA medical centers are now reporting severe staffing shortages. 97% of facilities can't fully staff their doctors, and 58% can't hire enough psychologists.
This didn't happen in a vacuum. The Trump administration has cut roughly 30,000 VA jobs. Now, Veterans are paying the price. @RepVindman
Texas Taxpayers Funded Ken Paxton's $1.9 Million Luxury Jet-Setting, Records Reveal
According to an Associated Press investigative report published on October 1, 2026, Texas Attorney General and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ken Paxton has taken more than 275 out-of-state trips, costing Texas taxpayers at least $1.9 million.
Paxton's destinations — with whatever mistress he had at that time — included luxury locations such as European tourism hot spots, Caribbean resorts, Rocky Mountain ski towns, and the California wine country.
The investigation also revealed that Paxton left roughly 730 workdays completely blank on his official office calendars during his 11-year tenure — which means he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for nearly three years of his 11 years of employment.
SCOOP: Last year, a pro-Ken Paxton super PAC received a $250K donation from “Paul McLaren,” a supposed “entrepreneur” in Plano, TX. But there is no such person. The real donor is a Texas businessman, Ben Pogue, whose dad Trump pardoned. (W/ @wsteaks) https://t.co/kzAxDCRqvp
Another win for Team Becerra! Thank you to everyone who watched last night's debate to show their support.
This movement is real. Our campaign is powered by community, passion, and hope for a stronger California.
We’re almost there!
Collins took bribes,
Her staff, lawyers & SuperPAC laundered.
FBI had her dead to rights on corruption.
Trump & Kash killed investigation, fired agents & shutdown anti-corruption unit.
Meanwhile, Reed and Abbott STILL work for her & she STILL refuses to answer questions.
.@GregAbbott_TX is the person most responsible for TX public schools being gutted to give taxpayer $$ to wealthy private school families & crooked voucher vendors. Abbott's hostility to public schools alone disqualify him to continue as TX Governor.

This is for the folks that punch in for long days and long nights, who pour their heart into their work, whose load never gets lighter, and folks who work 80 hours a week like I did.
There's power in who we are and we can't afford to waste it. It's time that your hard work pays off.
