Bhagavad Gita reminds us that a true teacher does not always give you the answer.
Sometimes, the greater gift is helping you see the question differently.
When Arjuna stood confused on the battlefield, Krishna did not fight his battle for him. He gave him clarity, perspective and the courage to make his own choice.
That is the mark of a great teacher.
They don't create dependence. They create discernment.

I think about every generation before me that survived, sacrificed, struggled, loved, and kept going so I could have a shot at this life. Now it’s my turn. I get to run the miles, build the things that live in my head, take the risks, chase the crazy ideas, and find out just how far I can take this life. I didn’t come this far down the bloodline just to play it safe. I’m here to make my turn count.
JUST IN: Netherlands transfers a large share of its gold reserves out of the U.S. and into the Bank of England, citing “increasing geopolitical unrest.”
One idea:
You don't need to catch every move.
You don't need to trade every day.
You don't need to have an opinion on every market.
You need to recognize when your edge is present.
And have the patience to wait when it isn't.
One press release. Thousands of crores wiped in hours.
Aditya Birla Group launched Ultravolt today — wires & cables, ₹1,800 crore bet, top-2 player target in 5 years.
KEI crashed ~9%. Polycab fell ~6%. RR Kabel down 5%. Havells slipped 2.7%.
UltraTech itself? Up 2%.
This is the 4th new business Birla has launched in 3 years.
Birla Opus (paints). Birla Pivot (B2B e-commerce). Indriya (jewellery). Now Ultravolt.
And Birla Opus already has double-digit market share in paints. In 2 years.
So the market isn't being irrational here. It's being logical.
Here's what I think retail investors holding Polycab/KEI need to understand:
Competition risk is real, but not overnight
Birla's distribution moat (1L+ retailers, 5K UltraTech outlets) is the actual threat
Incumbents still have brand trust and execution depth
De-rating can happen even when fundamentals don't break — that's the cruel part
The Birla playbook is clear: enter where India is structurally growing, bring scale, disrupt pricing.
Wires & cables are literally the nervous system of India's infra boom. Smart entry timing.
But here's my honest take — Polycab and KEI aren't dead. They're just on notice.
Are YOU holding any W&C stocks today? Sitting tight or trimming?

Your working memory can hold only about 4 things at once. Yet most people carry 20 unfinished worries into every hour. That overload is the scattered, tired feeling you can't explain.
